Barrow have cut Andy Dallas' loan short and decided to send him back to Barnsley.

I don't wish any ill-will on the lad but that short-term gain of taking a bit of extra cash has royally shafted him. Bet he has sleepless nights.

Unfortunately bad career decisions aided by his greedy agent

Is there anything in this McFadzean rumour? I've never seen the lad play so this may be a bit harsh but at 37 years old, is he going to make us any better?

I was in W6 on Tuesday night, and I'm 80% certain the guy sat near us was McFazdean. Anyone else see him?

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. I don't know the figures involved (?) and the promises made but imagine the choice of:

Club A will pay x
Club B will pay double and you play in the division above (more visibility to bigger clubs)

You could understand why a professional footballer who wants to progress and maximise earnings would go for Club B.

I quite liked Dallas. He certainly wasn't a lethal striker but was a decent player for us out wide on the left. That said, we have Coco and Berry for that position so do we need him?

Don't really get this Dallas stuff.

Helped us to the play off final two years ago - and would've possibly won it but for lousy keeping.

Then he left for a better deal, as we all would.

I'd have him back were there a gap, but with lads coming back that's not the case...

Not L2 but half-hearted rumours about a return here.. Clucas has gone to Lincoln. Believe he started his career there?

Looks like morecambe are under a transfer embargo, after the owner missed the deadline for proof of funding for the remainder of the season..

I thought Dallas spent more time on the right and his most memorable goal, his first I think, came from him cutting in from the right.

Fully agree, Chris, but squad wise I think we are presently short of options on the right and up front and a player that can perform in both those roles would be useful. Dallas might be able to do that as could Brown from Derby.

By no means do I think Cook has finished his business in this window but I do wonder if he might look at a couple of exchange deals on top of moving 2 or 3 out permanently or on loan deals. I believe we have around 16 players out of contract at the end of the season so it could be in the interest of some to get a longer term contract now rather than waiting until the summer.

Does anyone have the time/inclination to monitor young loanees from Prem./Championship clubs to L1 and L2 to see how much game time, free of injury they average?Think it may prove interesting, but I wouldn't have a clue how to go about it myself.
Your type of thing JonB?

Is it my imagination or was Dallas blowing out his bottom around the 60 min mark most games for us? Seem to remember a few moments flying around
Basically, wasn't at a level of fitness we required
