Quick google suggests that according to the below he would have need to have been signed by 12pm Friday of the dates fixed for the round. Not sure how this works with the Thursday night games mind you!

A ?registered player? is one who is either, in the case of a player under written contract, registered with The Association or, in the case of a player without a written contract, registered with a League in which his Club competes in the current season. Any such registration must have been received and accepted by The Association or League by 12 noon on the Friday previous to the date fixed for playing the Round, and the registration must be continuous through to the date of the match.

Yep.If he goes to Orient it's because he wants to.

Maybe both he and Orient are having a look at each other ready for a signing.
God I hate this league.

He lives in London. Hence the move to Orient, not sure there is anything we can do on this one. Even throwing the kitchen sink at him wages cant pull this round..

As far as I'm concerned he signed a season long loan deal. Until it's officially announced that deal is dead he is a town player. Regardless of what journalists may say

Correct
Would staying at Chesterfield be so far out the equation?

*saying that, I don't know if he'd commute from London to Blackburn

He will have family etc in London but i suspect having signed a long term deal with Blackburn he probably moved to live there when that happened.

They did, but their clubs have both put official recall statements out, as yet there's nothing from Blackburn so he might still be with us.

He was brought up in London, I very much doubt he still lives there. Didn't someone earlier say his parents lived in Blackburn?

Just to add one other thing into the mix of him going to Orient...they currently have 5 loans already i think so one will have to make way for Markanday if they bring him in.

I thought you could have more than 5 loans, but were restricted to 5 in a matchday squad?

Correct - I think the point he was trying to make is that one would be a wasted loan (if all fit) as they all cant play.
