Anyone who's better at the fixture calendar than me, take an educated guess as to when it'll be rearranged for?

Gills still in FA3 so next weekend a no go, so likely some spurious midweek?

It?s a football game that can be played later, those who moan about it being postponed need to get a life.
While the pitch might be ok, the concourse and surrounding streets would not.
It also gives us another 9 days to get players fit and possibly introduce new players

Suspect part of the issue will be what the pitch will be like by the time the snow has melted into it along with all the rain.

Cook, Webb etc will be pleased and not just that in Cook's case that he can get to Anfield. Suits all parties it being off.

Liverpool game could be off as well it seems with safety issues around the ground due to the weather.

No chance

Seems a weak decision, was it the pitch that failed the inspection or advice from authorities on local roads?

It?s already turned to rain

Having said that it?s good news in reality

If we?ve left the frost covers off the pitch and then I?d say we probably wanted the game off. Agree by about midday it?ll be gone probably but also agree it?s not the end of the world. Got a nice gap now before Grimsby to get people back, players in etc

Hopefully folk will chill out now

Help me out then, with you having your philosophical head on, perhaps you can explain ,when a ever increasing set of unfortunate events (coincidences)morphs into a "conspiracy theory"

I was in Munich this time last yr it was -8, outside the ground was like a skating rink, with a foot of snow where it hadn't been walked over, game was played, I don't recall seeing anyone falling over, (even any of us after a few beers) sometimes you just after trust folk to be able to make their own mind up on whether it's safe for them...

That said, I feel like schit, starting with a cold, so I'm glad its off..

I think it's pretty obvious we didn't want it on, for what ever reasons that made the management reach that conclusion and considering the disarray Gillingham appear to be suffering.

Sunday PM was already a huge turn off.

Then there's our crippling injury list.

Nah, more than happy with playing this at a more appropriate time and with a few more options available...

Looking at sky sports app, their recent form is about on par with ours, no way was this a gimme with our much depleted squad... better to play later and have players back.

Sunderland v Portsmouth is on Sky Sports+ at 3pm but none of the L2 games were scheduled to be shown (for whatever reason).

I?d imagine Liverpool v United will be on. It?s been raining since about 7 over here and the snow is melting pretty quick. Minor roads near me are slushy but passable. Main roads should be all good.

Ok, I'm not that bothered. What I copied above is the schedule though, straight from't SS website. It's a conspiracy to confuse old folk. I blame Musk.
