Looking like former Notts county manager Luke Williams is leaving Swansea for the West Brom job.

Let?s hope they don?t revisit cook as a potential manager like last time

I watched the post match Paul Cook interview from the MKD game and my ears pricked up when PC said "one of the reasons i stayed at the club was the owners"...so maybe at some point there has been a chance of him leaving?

That's how I interpret it, too.

PC would be ga-ga to go to Plimurrrf. Best they can possibly hope for is survival this season, then he'd have to start from scratch. And at a far flung corner of the country away from his north western roots.

Contrast that with a Tairn where he's fully supported in every sense, and fully involved in an evolution which could possibly see us leapfrogging Plimurrrf in the next year or two.

I'm sure PC still believes there's a 'big' job in him. That certainly wouldn't be at Home Park, though...

I was never convinced there was anything in those rumours about him and Plymouth previously. Didn?t seem their sort of appointment.

Plymouth were very interested in Cook, I met the CEO of Plymouth through work just after they appointed Rooney and when they knew they could get Rooney went cold on Cook. I told him he was mad to appoint Rooney but hope they focus elsewhere and don?t come wanting to speak to Cook

I see Plymouth have broken their transfer record to sign an overseas player. Talk is the fee is over ?1M. All this without a coach/manager in place.
Just what Cook doesnt like.-recruitment team having the last say.
