Hard to tell from the TV replays but I don?t think it did. Should have been academic really as Dobra should have buried it but credit to the defender as he did remarkably to keep it out.

There didn?t seem much complaint from the kop at the time, and the players appeals were half hearted.

But where is the next win coming from? This side is not good, I?d probably say it?s bottom half national league standard based on the quality. I?m not saying we will go down, but we look incapable of competing even against most clubs in this league.

How many of our players would get in other sides in this league? Not many I?d guess.

Crewe looks another loss sadly based on this served up today.
You really get off on it don't you? support like you we don't need Give it a rest.

Why do people seem to think every team we play are poor?

MK are a decent side, had some very good players and were the better side until we scored, we did well to remain competitive to be fair - we then finished the game strongly which is a credit to the players after so many games and with so many players out and MK looked scared of us

However, MK are far from rubbish, miles ahead of anything we saw in NL!

I simply don?t get the way people seem to queue up to say the opposition were poor, especially when we lose!

True but without our injuries we would have buried them

Not able to get to the game today, but at the end, did Markanday go to the home end in a 'thanks for all the love' sort of way, that would suggest that this was his last game, or did he just walk off as normal?

I don?t think every side are poor and not once said they weren?t better than anything we faced in the NL. I just thought they were poor today and I?ve seen far better sides this season. They offered next to nothing but unfortunately for us scored the two chances that fell their way. Two chances I don?t think they even get have we got the players we want to field out there.

There was no emotional lap of honour, so until we hear summat official from the club, we'll keep our fingers crossed...
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

Would you ever do me a favour, please? Can you just remind me by listing the names of the players who are injured and unavailable for selection? If you can also put an asterisk at the side of those names who you consider to good enough to feature in our starting 11 on a regular basis.

Cheers.

EDIT - at the halfway stage, we're averaging 1.42 points per game, 3 points off a play off spot and 5 points off an automatic spot. When the injured players return, is our points per game average likely to increase or decrease?

I don't think we should allow the last twenty minutes to paper over the cracks, ie what with all the injuries we just aren't good enough and were lucky to only let in two.

We were undone by a free kick taken from wrong position, poor defending for second goal and then not taking our chances. We need a centre forward desperately as Drummond just too lightweight and inexperienced.

There must be a decent premier league young centre forward somewhere we can get on loan?

Fair play to the lads out there they gave their all.

Said it myself ref let them take a quick free kick no where near where the actual foul took place.

I disagree entirely. I thought they were a good team. Messed around at the back too much but they were comfortable for much of the game. I just wish we'd not started Drummond. Nothing against him but he was a bit of a waste up against big defenders. He was a bit exposed. If we'd played with a non-number 9/false 9 from the start it would have caused them more problems. And even then we still created plenty.

Worth noting he then proceeded to not allow us to take a single quick one for the rest of the afternoon.

With all the injuries we have if we took away 14 good players from any team I doubt any would do any better.
To be fair we should of win today there keeper should of been sent off ,markandy should of had 2

And subsequently, our two attempts to take a quick free kick from not quite the right place were pulled back. Very annoying.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

Cos the ref had no bottle, he neshed the penalty and gave a free kick

100% challenge was outside the area, no complaints even if Oldaker hadn?t scored. But what the eff was the ref playing at allowing them to hold up play in the first half for two players to help one of theirs put his boot back on when they were all off the pitch. Shocking

Fair. We can agree to disagree but they?ve only won 2 in 6 and both were us.
