question on ash palmer (whp was at the game on sunday), he has been something of a forgotten player as he has been out injured and then unregistered, no idea of his injury or return date but let's say he is injury free, is he eligible for january? apologies as i'm unclear on the rules but sure i'd heard or read that january the restriction is lifted and reinstated at the end of the window.

He is a player already registered to us as his club and effectively registered before noon today which appears to make him eligible to be named in the match day squad tomorrow.

At what point in time the squad of 22 can be expanded, or become no longer effective, to include such a player I am not certain. However, I assume it is from one minute past midnight on 1st January 2025.

Yeah I think January is a bit if free hit as players can be registered and unregistered as you please until a final 25 or less needs to be submitted come the end of the transfer window

I?d read that Colclough and Berry could be back in the squad tomorrow, and the next batch at some point in January would be Fleck, Jacobs, Palmer and VDC.

I've not seen or read it,but if right that will really make a difference. I'd like to see the Fleck signing work out because having both Fleck and Naylor in the team would be, potentially,the best partnership since Jimmy Ryan and Sam Morsy.

If he can stay fit long enough to reach the pitch, hardly played all season due to injury, I'm not holding my breath expecting a great return, he was hit and miss miss miss 1st time around, and soon shipped out on loan at the start of the season.

If Dunkley is still not heading a ball I would say for a centre half that is a major issue!!
