Unfortunately I'm not fit, but I'd still rather play me, .. I'm coming across all Walton now, but Drummond is not good enough,.. I'd rather hodson start up top.. oldaker back in the holding roll, and shove mandy back to the 10...

And that?s why you?re not a manager of a football club 👍🏼

After initially feeling annoyed we came away nothing I soon realised I'd witnessed a solid, determined well drilled effort from a thread bare squad.

I thought the whole squad showed a lot of nerve and guts in what is a tricky situation.

If we show all of the above qualities and return a few key players im still convinced we'll be floating round the play offs.

Great performance on in the majority from the lads today bar the obvious disappointment of defeat but during a period of games that normally stretches a squad anyway credit has to be given for the first half especially, pressed them and harried them into mistakes and could have been 3 nil up, unfortunately a quick break (one of the rare moments they didn't hoof it ten foot in the air) pinned us back right before half time and that turned the game.

They came out with more impetus in the 2nd half and had us rattled for a spell when they scored, could perhaps be put down to almost the same 11 players playing their 3rd game in 8 games.

The Referee didn't look as though he was going to be too bad until he booked Drummond for a nothing challenge, and when Baldwin committed a slightly worse challenge a minute later, he had no choice but to show another yellow and set a precedent, after the 2nd and 3rd yellow for them in the space of 10 minutes, he had to pretty much start ignoring any kind of foul for either team or else we'd have ended up with a 5 a side game.

Did anyone else notice in the first half, and after they?d gone behind, the ball retrievers were getting the ball to their players as quickly as they could??.after they went in front, they all just sat there and didn?t bother? Should be fined for that sort of thing!

I have been too today and I thought that we played very well with 13 fit players and a ref who was out of his depth let too much go missed the pull on Markandey and another national league ref not upto standard

He had to start ignoring fouls as he stuffed up with the Drummond booking and when 3 of their players committed 3 worse challenges within the space of the next 8 minutes it was about to descend into chaos bookings wise, so much so it forced them into a change, and the only thing he could do was to start ignoring the fouls

Clarevoyant may know, have we just brought all the National League Referees with us?

I think in many ways today was maybe a turning point this season. The Fans saw how blo ody hard the players worked today, ok we lost but it has somehow cemented an even stronger bond between fans n players that was already excellent, people saw today that they worked hard n fought til the end, this will bode well for the rest of the season.
I think that the roar the players get for the start of the MK game will again be our 12th man, and I for one still believe we will finish in the top 3 when we start to get players off the injured list and with some new additions.

Well drilled apart from 2 pieces of disgusting defending, I class the first worst than the second, player brushes past 2 town players with no right to then grimes makes one of his usual stepping in mistakes, it was the half way line ffs, it?s not dangerous, brain dead

For the first goal, Either Araujo or Grimes has to bring their man down and take one for the team.

A worrying fact is that both their goals came directly from our throw ins.

I disagree he has to step back force the player wide and delay him, he is wide he has to keep him wide and allow players s chance to get back, he already knows araujo is out the game he can?t commit himself

Clarevoyant may know, have we just brought all the National League Referees with us?

Agree with that, we went through a spell were they were constantly commiting niggly fouls which were, given much to the crowds derision. It was probably playing on his mind and he then stopped giving them. Talking of crowd derision how funny was it when the thick Bradford (I don't like Bradford fans historical) fans embarrassed themselves by not understanding the free kick given in their half for offside, there again it took a good 90 seconds to explain it to the Bradford players, 90 seconds which were forgotten about when it came to adding on time at the end.

4 minutes added load of bo...ks (yes we got away with one v Wimbledon) that has to be the worst managed 4 minutes of football. We had a corner the amount of off the ball fouls committed by their defenders was incredible, they knew they'd get away with it, he stopped the taking of the corner twice, talking to Grimes and his assailant and when after 2 minutes when the corner was taken he invented a foul by Hobson who had just been thrown to the floor and then to compound things he blew on 4 minutes costing us potentially 2/3more attacks, complete bottle job as with the penalty.

If he'd have given us the pen would he have had chance to even it up, albeit from a distance it looked as though Shecks may have been struck on the arm, not sure.

Think some should be ashamed of the way they have castigated Grimes for this match. Yes, he was at fault, yes he?s not the best centre half we?ve had but neither is he the worst and he always gives his all however limited that may be. Had his what seemed a legitimate goal stood at Fleetwood he would have been a hero a few days ago.

And where?s Walton? Two consecutive defeats thought he would have been in his element. Has he changed name or been suspended again?
