Massive effort from our lads today, how we've come away empty handed is an injustice, they tried to bully us but we gave as good as we got, would not want to watch their brand of "football" every week, a quick word for Hobson today especially when he went up front,

Yes we should Mandy misses to many, despite being one of our better players. If he got the goals his play deserved he would be playing in a higher division.

On Hobsons behalf, I saw a chance for him to be the days hero when, near the end the ball was falling perfectly for a right footed volley into the roof of the net, except he decided, at the last second, to try to switch to his other foot and his chance for glory had gone.

I still think he will be gone, one way or another, in January.

They were a typical Graham Alexander side am I glad we've got PC.

If ever a game was crying out for half an hour cameo from Bob Newton today was it

Excellent performance considering the 15 injured, nothing in that bar a couple of mistakes. Well done lads - fingers crossed no niggles and able to give MK a good game on NYD

Imo if we had the bounce of the ball in certain areas at crucial times of the match we would have taken them apart but as a certain manager says thats football

Onto MK Dons now and we certainly owe them one big time

In fairness to Grimes, he shouldn?t be playing, a reflection of our injury crisis he?s getting this many minutes.

Sat and watched Berry be slandered for weeks but Grimes gets a pass before he?s loyal, writing on the wall that he?s not good enough for a starting promotion chasing team.

Couldn?t believe he didn?t just smash that on the volley. Looked a great chance.

Grimes hasn't had a free pass at all, but I think the difference is you can tell he puts 100% into every game. Berry doesn't alway look like he's doing the same. Fans can forgive a lack of ability, but not a lack of effort.

Unfortunately I'm not fit, but I'd still rather play me, .. I'm coming across all Walton now, but Drummond is not good enough,.. I'd rather hodson start up top.. oldaker back in the holding roll, and shove mandy back to the 10...

Just got back. First half absolutely exceptional, massively in control. Hard to believe we weren?t 2/3 up. Got punished in the only decent attack they had, I know grimes is getting hammered but from the side naylor has to go across instead of just going back ?.
Second half they started well and looked like they?d been told to get after the ?weak? ref and suddenly things turned, they had a 15 minutes when they could have got 3/4. After that we got back into it but never really looked like scoring

Agree with everything you?ve said. First half brilliant, second half their keeper didn?t make a save!!
