Gets worse?.rest of the games announced with the 32 games spread across 14 different kick off times plus they?ve decided it?s a good idea to send Cardiff to Sheff Utd and Peterborough to Everton on the Thursday night!

Peterborough released a statement saying they, are understandably, not happy!

Might be an opportunity to go to Goodison before it closes though (in the away end obviously). I've never been.

Football is selling its soul.

Football fans have always been the lifeblood of the game and now the clowns in charge are sticking 2 fingers up to them

I must be missing the obvious as in my eyes it would have been exactly the same ball being drawn out at exactly the same time by the same person.

Exeter was ball 47 because there were 44 new teams entering at that stage and Exeter v Chesterfield was match 3 because we were 3rd out the draw in round 2

Exeter v Oxford was the 3rd tie drawn so the winners will be ball 3 in the 4th round draw and so on. If you really wanted to you could trace the 'what ifs' all the way to the final.

Probably a bit late for a rebuttal now but do you all genuinely think the draw would go the same had we won?

You don't think thousands of people going about their lives differently (we behave differently if we win compared to if we lose) would have a guaranteed knock on effect to those balls in a bag being drawn out?

I get the fun of speculating 'what if it had been us', but there's absolutely no chance that draw would go the same. In fact I'd speculate any one person turning up to a football match changes the result more often than not.
I just don't know what I'm supposed to be

Of course the prices are agreed by both sides. It looks like those are ?20 up on Tamworth's normal charges and ?20 down on the cheapest Spurs tickets.

Good luck to them, although they should be cheaper for Tamworth season holders, I doubt there would be more than a couple of hundred of them.

Personally if I was Tamworth I would sell half season tickets with no discount but include a Spurs ticket!

Yes

I don't believe me moping about after we lost rather than having an extra pint had any influence on the draw

If we had won at Exeter we would still have been ball 3 and Oxford (ball 29) as a new team in the draw is governed by alphabetical order.

Now I agree, if the guy making the draw had coughed just before he made the draw he might have grabbed a different ball (say ball 4 instead of ball 3) but he didn't, so it was 3 v 29 and will remain so for eternity.

If you discount for ST holders you still have to pay the full value of the ticket into the gate pot so Spurs get their share.
