A very decent performance given the injury list. On another day we'd have had at least one penno on Drummond. With a bit of luck Grimes would have been on, or given as being on.

As with the vast majority of games so far we looked by some way the better team and played some very good football.

Nothing wrong with today other than the result.

Completely agree re berry. A player who has a great deal to learn.

The question for me is, has he the mentality or will to want to learn? I?m not so sure myself, but would be loved to be proved wrong.

Hearing Dunkley back Jan first.

Will be a huge positive...

Can?t see that myself but I hope so

Team looked leggy second half. Berry just not putting in enough effort when you compare him against Markandy and Dobra. Basically we looked pretty toothless against a poor Fleetwood team.

Berry is nursing a hamstring injury, and has been for weeks, straight from the horses mouth after the game today

Doesn't stop some of our fans slagging him off and calling him lazy without knowing the facts eh!!

Sorry, he is either fit to play or he isn?t! His effort today was unacceptable.

We can?t, as fans, expect us to win every game particularly with the predicament we?re in. We have a cracking squad, probably the envy of many teams in this league but injuries are proving to be an issue.

It?s times like this (as Cookie says) that the club and fans need to stick together. I?m not giving up, I?m not conceding anything. We?re not rubbish, we?re a good club with a great squad of players and we?ll be ok.

Totally agree with your comments and any team with an injury list like ours would really struggle,I think it is the solidarity in the dressing room that has got us this far but there are limits.

We have no right to expect we should beat anyone. They played a good game, their second was unstoppable. You need to show a bit more respect to our players and our club.

You?re losing touch with the club, you don?t get it.

Cue abuse ......

That would answer a lot of assumptions.

Ah. The urban myth that goal keepers shouldnt be beaten at the near post.
Only said by non goal keepers.

No criticism of him from me. Great hit.

I have noticed he has been wearing those sticky blue type tape thingymagigs on the backs of his legs for a few weeks now.

Have you not thought that he has been prepared to play to help the squad out even though he is one of the players less than 100% fit?

If we had more options he might be given the chance to fully recover and get back to his best.

To sum up I thought we played well given the circumstances should have scored in the first half when their keeper made a few decent saves and Grimes's goal looked onside nothing to get too upset about.

Well that game reminded me of the Gillingham game and we were never going to score whilst we had a hole in our derriere.
As Ted Dexter once said after another England defeat "the lines of Venus were in the wrong juxtaposition." No, I've no idea what it means either but it sounded good at the time.

Should we have had a pen, too far away to judge however the players body language suggests yes. If it's not shown on the highlights then the answer is probably yes
Derbyshire is Derbyshire
Yorkshire is Yorkshire

Never the twain shall meet.

Just watched them, and a few comments........
Somebody commented on here yesterday that Berry's performance was 'unacceptable'. He was our outstanding player on highlights.

I personally thought that Naylor was at fault for both goals, standing off instead of challenging. Then, others contributed with their own errors.

It was one of the games where a clean sheet was very doable and acceptable in the circumstances, but it didn't happen.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

No.
Highlights show various acceptable phases. Why was the rest unacceptable?

I?m not going to label him as unacceptable etc but from being there I don?t think he was man of the match by a long way.
