Hate to say I told you so?

Hardly surprising he not in the squad after limping off last game but that doesn't mean he is out for the rest of the season.

On the other hand anyone still believing Danny Webb's injury updates is naive to say the least

So you've heard it from someone who has heard it from someone who has heard it from someone. Yeah.
Presumably it from wasn't Cook, Webb, Grigg, Colclough or a doctor.

Only hope this is the usual unfounded rumour mongering.

Take a level out but everything else he tells me is spot on

No one ever said rest of the season but we are certainly having a lot of ? sat in stands next few months. A serious look needed in the physio department or training, wonder how many we will bring in now?

Just have to try and get through the next three games with no injuries and stay in the playoff picture

Let?s hope we get the job done early today because Id be lying if I said I had faith in that bench to get us over the line

SURELY some of these injuries are getting closer to returns now? I?m thinking likes of Dunkley, Metcalfe, Fleck, Daley-Campbell etc? all rumoured to be back in the next 7 days, surely fit enough to at least be on bench rather than young lads like Cook, Jessop & Gunner Elliott who are nowhere near the level required?

@liamnorcliffe

plus jones retired for the season. that is quite a list, hoping above hope that we some returnees quickly and that grigg is a cautionary leave out of todays squad, talk of 4 months is concerning, could be a very interesting january, lads have done great recently, hope they can keep it going.

It?s a rumour which is what forums are flooded with. If that rumour strikes fear into you then maybe the internet isn?t for you.

On previous form JonB not the type for rumour mongering.

Exactly. Anybody who chooses to ignore all rumours on here will miss out on multiple news stories that are bang on. Its a matter of sense checking the post, which includes identying the source and the integrity of the author.
Jon B certainly passes that test.

I wouldn?t mention it if I didn?t believe the source and he?s not been one to tell me rubbish before.

I would also add, wether the rumour is true or not,JonB trusts his source and therefore decided to post the matter. Not classed as mongering in my book.He also posts a lot of articles that require a degree of research and/or football knowledge so he is in credit IMO.

This maybe the time for the young lads to shine. No real pressure on them, because nobody's going to blame them for mistakes, but playing for a manager such as Cook must help. I really hope that Drummond shines today to ease the situation with Grigg and Madden being injured.
One thing all the injuries has shown, and it's a positive, is that both Tyrone Williams and Jamie Grimes are more than fit for purpose in this league.

Their player doing his best to get Grimes in trouble there.

Lad called Partridge, can't remember his first name. I meet his dad John frequently, dog walking round Hardwick park. John Partridge played for CFC and Mansfield in the 80s.

Something seems to be badly wrong on the SS side of things. Is it a young lad, fresh out of uni?

Ben Partridge is in his third or fourth year with us, I think. Certainly, he's been here for some relatively injury-free seasons before this one. Can't think why he'd change last season's winning approach, or why the club would change training very much from what worked last year.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.
