Personally I do think he has a high opinion of himself possibly elevated by all the adulation he has received previously, possibly from the same folk who are lumping on him now.
He can be frustrating in his movement but he may be working under instructions and he certainly likes to receive the ball deeper in front of his defender and cut inside. That is where most of his success has come since he has been here. If he charged forward every time some nob told him to he'd be offside 10 times a game. If there is a criticism that I'd lay at his feet is that he is a bit of a one tick pony and he needs to expand his game.
Also noting that when discussing his lack of commitment, nobody has mentioned a great late block after the winger had skinned our fullback
Regarding Berry being a one trick pony he certainly doesn?t seem to have Colclough?s range of trickery although he?s probably faster. Scored some outstanding goals but at present would take Coco, Dobra and Markanday over him any day. However lt looks like with Coco injured he?s going to have to start. Really hope he can get a couple more spectacular goals which will help both the team and his convidence.
