And a few other results going our way today as well, with MK and Grimsby losing. Plus Crewe drawing at home last night. The table is looking quite healthy at the moment.

Table is very tight at the bottom too which I think will help us in the long run. Look at Bromley, they aren?t that far off the playoffs now, a few wins and things look rosey.

Certainly wasn't pretty other than the goal but will take that all day long. Three wins in a row, three clean sheets in a row. Hopefully nothing serious for Colclough. He was missed.

It must be some time since we have had three clean sheet in a row.

Brilliant win. Good goal then defended really well second half. What a save from Thompson by the way. 4 wins on the bounce with our current injury crisis is fantastic. Can?t believe how quickly cooks turned it round with him being on borrowed time 2 weeks ago 😂

Fantastic win. Think the injuries forced Cook to change to 4-1-4-1 which seems to suit us a lot better. Mandy excellent again today and Dobra looks like a new player

Not pretty but a great win against one of the top sides.
Won that on work rate today, outstanding.
Mandy was excellent, thriving in 4141.
They probably deserved a point with the double post chance and Thompson save at the death but chuffed we start tricky Xmas games with a win

Half time chatter is that we are after Gus Scott-Morriss at Southend

Dobra was excellent, took his goal really well and seeing a different side of him, defensively like a little terrier, was everywhere today, getting stuck into tackles and bringing the ball away, not just that creative spark anymore!

I don?t get people?s hate for dobra. Admittedly he could release it sooner sometimes but he?s got immense talent and to have his work ethic too is rare (same with Markanday).

The last few weeks he looks to have got his confidence back and similar to the Grimes thread I think has started to settle after a quieter start to the season

He lost form for a few games, most of which we lost, but he's back playing better than ever now, especially in tackling back.
And how can we ever play without Mandeville centre midfield, and everywhere else.

Every player gave everything they had today. So why did berry just stroll about today. IMO his body language reflected his enthusiasm and effort today. He has some good cameo appearances but I believe he isn't up to this level

Dobra & Mandeville today, absolutely class. Worked their absolute b*llocks off for the team in a game that was never going to be pretty.

Not to mention they both played key parts in the match winning goal.

Wasn't it just asshole who said that, jumping on some general complaints about him being slow to release when he got caught in passion couple of times.

He more than makes up for that with his work rate and closing down; that's before you take into account his attacking ability.

In the words of the forgotten pundit Andy Gray
Max Thompson, take a bow son!

Excellent first half hour we were superb, second half was a much more nerve wracking affair, topped off with a worldie save from our No1. You can?t beat going into Christmas with a win.

Don't want to pick on a player but was disappointed in Berry again. I know with flair players sometimes things work and sometimes they don't. I genuinely thought he was going to be subbed off when the changes were made which would have been pretty humiliating.

What a battling performance that was,and how did Thompson one handily save that one near the end , it kills me not being there missing some best stuff in last 2 years or more

Agree. Said the same thing. He probably should have been brought off based on his effort today.

He should have been. Maybe it would have been the kick up the backside he desperately needs

Agreed. Poor again today. Needs to get a grip.
