He seems to be growing into league football which seem strange at his age. Very pleased for him.

There's nowt wrong with him, he's been consistent for a couple of yrs now, he just needs a run of games to get upto speed, which he's had now, I don't get the hate for him from some of our support, everyone of our players has a mistake in them.. that's why they play at this level..
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

He was excellent today a good team Captain. He?s now humping it into row z rather than play it awkward positions and ending up giving it away under pressure.

Cracking performance, played to his strengths.

Exactly this. And having solid, club guys like Grimes and Mandeville playing now is, I suspect, helping the team generally.

He was brilliant today, as was Naylor, and many others.
However Jamie has played league football before, making 40 appearances for Cheltenham in the 17/18 season and 18 for Macclesfield in 18/19.

Would walk in to a few L2 teams easily.
Love it when he's playing for us

Was talking about this post game in the pub. We said that when he doesn?t try to be something he?s not (e.g trying silly passes & taking risks), he?s actually a very decent centre half at this level. Hes strong as an Ox, and he?s as good in the air as any CB I can remember playing for us.

Well played Jamie, a proper captains performance which was required in a game like that today.

Delighted for him. People are keen to write him off, but he keeps putting in performances like today when called upon.

Keep at it, Jamie. 💪

Too slow and he was running scared today. A few times almost gave them a equaliser. Needs to be a back up player at the most . With the injuries we have then cooky as to play him but he's not good enough for L2

I gave my vote to Dobs.purely because he showed all his best qualities and none of the other side.Other than that I think there were at least 5/6 players that could have been nominated easily and I would have hated to have to pick an official MOM today.
On the other side, what a problem to have with all the injuries and players out of their best positions when your team puts in a shift like today.
Not sure how much longer we can continue to push with our numbers declining as they are, but with the squad togetherness we have long may it continue.COYB.

I cannot imagine Jamie Grimes 'running scared' of anyone, and whatever a person's opinion of his level his effort and commitment to the club cannot be questioned.

Jesus Christ this is crazy. Think he had one dodgy moment late one where he miskicked but otherwise was solid. Ridiculous critique
