Its a fair point if storage space is limited on site which then probably explains the outsourced gifts made to order. Take a cut of that and dont have to pay to store a load of stock somewhere and ferry it into the shop as needed.

Just because it's not what you wanted to hear doesn't mean it's not helpful. If it's factually true then there's little more to say. Could we do better? Perhaps. Is there any financial incentive to do so? Unlikely.

If you listen to the official club podcasts they make merchandising sound like an absolute goldmine and something with massive potential.

I remember having a discussion with Carson and his cronies about this, so it's an old chestnut. Any road up, somebody made the point at the time that the laundry room was in the wrong place. Perhaps it's been moved now, but it used to take up strategic space in the West stand. Close to the changing rooms, but a mistake.

I always buy loads of bits and bobs when I come up.
Was hoping to next week actually.

And do they really call it a superstore? (As opposed to Club Shop)? Never noticed that.

Would those bits and bobs include ham and string ?

If that was true you'd think they'd try harder.

I was amazed at the variety of the merchandise available in the Club Shop at Morecambe when we played them a few weeks ago, especially as Morecambe have less than half the fan base than we do!

The quality looked far superior to most of the stuff we are offering including a wide range of stylish leisure items devoid of huge sponsors logos plastered all over them!

If we offered something similar I would be a regular customer!

Just been in, there's plenty in, but let's be honest, it's all a bit boring ... nothing really jumps out at ya as little bit daring or different, all just plain tops with a town badge stuck on, come on, surely we can do better

Ps car air fresheners 👍👍

Went in earlier today.

Disappointed and left empty handed, not much foot traffic in there either !
