Just popped in to browse for a couple of Chrimbo gifts for my nearest and dearest Spireite chums. Sad to say, I came out empty-handed. While things have definitely improved over the last few years, the range of stuff on sale is still limited. Initially, I thought 'could do better', but in fairness, the shop has little space to carry a broader range of stock. Perhaps a new build/pop-up shop in the car park would boost sales.

I've always thought an extension on the front of the shop to also incorporate the Ticket Office hatches was needed. More floor space for the shop and one of those queue spacers you see in airports for tickets. These days the shop always seems busy when I have been down, maybe its time to think about making it better.

I have E mailed a few times about the types of items that other Clubs stock but there seems to be a lack of interest (up to now)

There are plenty of items but they will need to be affordable. Something the kids can buy with their pocket money or something unique for the collectors.

I am not saying all these would sell but just putting forward some ideas

T Shirts (with different styles of the logo's or crests on)
Retro Kits & Leisure Wear
Retro socks or Boxers for Adults or Kids
CFC/Spireite 3 pack of Black/White Crew Sport Socks
CFC Boot Bags
Baby Grows - Toddler Clothes
Pennants or Street Signs with the Name or logo/Crests on
CFC Beer Mats
Canvas Bags with Retro crest/Logo etc
Thermal Mugs
CFC Football, Pump And Water Bottle Gift Set
Player Mugs
Player Bobbleheads
Car Window Decals - Various styles
Framed Photo's - Player - Ground - Goals
Golf Tee's & Ball Markers
Anything Collectable

p.s. Please don't stock the Garden Gnomes again

I must agree. I've often come out the shop empty handed \ disappointed. It's not got the retail experience most.People look for i guess.

I like the pop up shop / stall idea. Why not trial that on matchdays. A couple of stalls selling t shirts, mugs, key rings could go down a treat.

As the market area in Chesterfield town centre develops why host a
stall there. Worth a trial ?

The club may as well do it or there'll be counterfeit goods out there with no benefit to Chesterfield FC.

Please don't knock the gnomes mate. Jack (named after SJL) has lived happily in my garden since 2012.
Tommy (named after Tommy Lee) got killed by the clumsy fence erector I employed in 2014. I tried to repair him with superglue but he was too badly injured :( .

What about logo'd buffs, may sell better than scarves. No good for scarf day though.😁

For the last 3 years I've inquired about those full length padded winter coats that the pro's/commentators wear. They are knee length and keep your bum warm. 'Not enough demand' is the feedback but I find that hard to believe. I've given up now and Santa is bringing me one off t'internet.

For those whose bum remains cold, I'm told that sitting on of those padded mats that cushion your knees when kneeling on a hard surface are brill for providing a solution. Perhaps the club could sell logo'd ones.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

It's clearly an income stream that's not being maximised.

I went in the other week looking for a couple of small gifts for my grandad - nothing exciting, a mug/pint glass and coaster and hat was what I was after

I was told mugs were in available online and nothing else was in stock so for a last minute gift for birthday I had no option but to look elsewhere. Quite why things are online only I?ll never know

Maybe the club could send out a Microsoft form to all season ticket holders asking for suggestions.

Given the amount of time that you're out of your seat either bellyaching at the officials / staff from the away team or celebrating a goal, a padded mat is not going to be of any benefit to you!

Here's your issue - https://cfcpersonalisedgifts.co.uk/

A third party (The Go 4 Group Ltd) who I've never heard of making items to order rather than the club shop ordering in bulk and stocking the said items.
