Buckingham leaves Oxford.

Circumstances pretty vague - and losing to Wednesday is a real low point - but thought he'd done an amazing job getting Oxford into the second tier...

Hardly a surprise, Bournemouth recognised early he wasn?t good enough and I was surprised when he got the Wolves job

He did ok at wolves last season?.this season not helped by a load of players being sold and not replaced. Defensively they lost some good players including Kilman to West Ham and didn?t replace them.

Been sackings galore this weekend. Seen a headline this morning man city cirsis deepens, what crisis, just because they aint top, they will probably still win a trophy. There fans should try following newcastle, no trophy in 55 year and probably wont get anything anytime soon die to the continental teams hogging the league and getting around financial fair play

He's had things easy for the last several years, but along with a few injuries and lose of form here and there, he now has to manage. Other managers go through this without a goldmine worth of talent waiting in the wings. It's the only time I've wanted Man united to win a game in the premiership.

thought some southampton fans were pretty poor to be honest to be making a banner saying get out of our club to a guy who just a few months ago got them promoted.

i think pep took his eye off the long term, seemed a suggestion at some point last season that this season would be his last and so hasn't really invested in developing that next side, seem to recall ferguson doing similar at united when he annouced his retirement for the first time then changed his mind but for a couple of seasons man utd were a bit below their standards of that era... just a theory

Russell Martin hasnt helped himself refusing to change how they play with lots of tippy tappy passing out from the back when the players they have arent good enough to do it. Number of goals they've conceded have been gifted by their inability to play out from the back as they kept trying to. I think thats part of the issue as to why many fans arent happy. At least Martin will go home and be comforted by his other half ex page 3 girl Lucy Pinder!

Not the first and wont be the last to take a team up and then get the chop as the team struggles higher up. The jump from Championship to Premier League is becoming pretty much impossible to make these days. Last season all three promoted teams got relegate i think and this year its only the fact Wolves are being terribly run and are awful that means one of the promoted teams isnt in the bottom three and they are 4th bottom!

Martin always came across as quite arrogant and as Jon says he's refused to change how they play. You can't play the way he does if you don't have players who are better technically than most other teams in your league. To then keep doing that even though it's clearly not working week in week out.... well I'd be fuming and probably calling for change, I don't know how anybody could criticise fans for wanting a change of manager when they're sat on 5 points with 1 win and we're in December. Anyway if Holmesc1 had his way literally no manager would get the sack ever.

If I got to stay home with Lucy Pinder I would be absolutely delighted to be sacked and given a massive pay off.

No just stating a fact that a manager can be a victim of there own success. So if a manager got a team promoted to the premier league in a shoe string and got the sack as the team struggled do they really deserve the sack?

You right there, saw highlights of newcastle game and Leicester were garbage and if wolves have new manager bounce would not be Surprised to see them in bottom 3 and all promoted teams go down which looks like becoming the nor while the same old continental teams win all the trophy's every season
