Is this still happening?

After the struggle I had getting into the loft to reclaim my scarf, YES. I'm sure the f'in loft hatch has shrunk.

I used to be able to lift myself through the loft hatch from my arms alone from the too short steps I owned. I upgraded the steps, and now I struggle getting in there using my legs, now that's progress 😆😆😆. I'm with you though, there's something mystical about loft doors, you struggle to get through them going up,but try falling through one after a session on Doom Bar, you'll not catch the sides 🤔.

Anything happen with this? Didn?t see anything official from the club? If not, we could have one last attempt for either the game on the 21st or NYD! You?d think the club would be clever to back it to shift some scarves!

Been looking for mine for a while, so glad it didn't happen whilst I couldn't find it, but I'd definitely buy one from the Club if they backed it - would be a great show of unity to fans, players and club, and would probably make them a bit too

It started after the Barrow game with badges being the initial topic moving onto scarfs and a few claiming bragging rites of 'mines better than yours' type of thing.

Anyway are little group (numbers, not size(gut)) displayed a few battered, faded and moth eaten numbers post trannies match but it was decided that an exceptionally well worn 70s silky piece would have made a small fortune if a market for one legged people with a fetish for a silky fishnet stocking could be found.

People have shown an interest and probably with the right 'driver' something could be done. It's a pity those that contacted the club didn't get a response. The trannies match was probably too early regarding generating interest, but weather wise it was the right day.

I wore one of mine for the Trannie game,Saltergate end of an era, just in case I had missed any update but obviously not. This would have been right up SpireiteNAG's street to discuss with the club, perhaps an email to Mr. Tooley?

Scarf Day will happen - the Club likes the idea but wants to order a few new scarves in for the shop - pencilled in for NYD, but that's not totally confirmed.... and it could become an annual post-Christmas fixture.....

Cheers Phil that's great news! First home game of the calendar year every season would be sensible as easy to remember if it becomes an annual tradition and then people can possibly buy a scarf as a stocking filler! Here's hoping the shop and club get it sorted and communicated in time for NYD for this season!

I too wore an old one for the Tranmere game last Saturday. I had a few to choose from but decided on a King Frank ( Barlow ) and his royal blues one with the names of Salmons, Ridley, Green, Birch, Crawford, Turner, Tartt, Simpson, O'Neill, Bonnyman, Wilson and Kowalski on it.
If I'm honest I chose that one cos it was B****Y cold last Saturday and that scarf was a nice thick one lol!

Any updates? Looks unlikely to be for this Saturdays game as you would imagine that the official club socials would have started mentioning scarf sales by now!

This Saturday is 'Santa Hat' day, so don't think it was ever an option to be this side of Xmas.

as Phil has said, its penciled in for NYD but subject to the club being able to get hold of a decent stock of scarves before then.

Pleased that this year's Santa Hat day does not feature a game against a team that wears red. Last season, it looked as though Aldershot had brought 5,000.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

The ones in our group who dug out some relics for the Trannies game, coincidentally wore them again yesterday, was it because they were a lucky omen or with it being drafty and the fact we are an ageing nesh group?
