The board is seen as a bit of a joke among other fans talking on social media and at times it?s hard to disagree with their comments about some postings at times. I try to point out to them that it?s the minority dragging it down at times.

Blimey, what social media is that! Only see a fraction of it but what I see is that after a defeat it stinks every bit as bad as this, if not worse.

See comments on Twitter about it after defeats. As you say it can often be as bad and I do say this to some folk.

We?re not operating on the same playing field as them though financially. Wrexham have the Hollywood pair plus the additional exposure and finance it?s brought them while Stockport have a wealthy owner who is a fan happy to throw money at it. Yes we now have the Kirk?s but they have, rightly, said they will not just bankroll things for millions upon millions.

Exactly, the stated ambition of the Kirk brothers is a long term project to leave behind a sustainable football league club. Hence investment in the training ground, small incremental improvements to the ground, resetting up the academy and a long term contract for Cook and the bloated back room staff. It?s a long term project, there are gonna be bumps in the road (such as now with injury problems) but personally I?m all on board with it.
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

Agreed, and anyone with half a brain should be as well. Alas?

If my other half ever catches me on this board, I just pretend I was looking at pornography. It's less shameful, frankly.

Yep thankfully the sensible majority can see whats happening and are on board with it. Plenty of examples of clubs going belly up after unsustainable spending or ropey owners running it into the ground. In fact we its not that long ago that we would have cried out for something like we have now as Dave Allen sat to one side and Carson & co made decisions etc that made us a mess and a joke.

I think there may be two kinds of reaction - the bigger picture, long-term one and the short-term dopamine deficit of a heavy defeat on on a Tuesday night, didgy refs at Harrogate and players out of position. I still think there should be threads properly moderated and placed - ie match day reactions and the longer term debate elsewhere. Without this, the problem with this board will be clear and present and a number of more self-centred, fatalistIc posters will have their undeserved attention.
