Christ i can't believe some stuff written on here tonight the usual suspects, get a fuc---g grip look were we was just a few short years ago we only 3 points of play off places and 5 from automatic places, 28 matches yet loads of points to play for, even man city lost about 5 out of last 6 . have a bit of a reality check we not gonna win every game, this time last season Doncaster was near bottom of league two and got into play offs in end, injury's not helping either, got players to come back and a January transfer window am sure cook will get it right again and if we don't get promoted this season which is still possible then every chance it will happen next season have a bit of faith in cook and the club folks, COYB 👍

I put you in my folder of ?fan that clapped players, management and owners when we were relegated out of the football league?

That's your second mistake tonight.

I still think we?ll finish in the play offs, we?re one of the better sides when we?re at full strength .

Fully agree with this. Fleck, I also think was a roll of the dice that hasn't paid off for us unfortunately.

Hate to say it but Id seriously consider sending Tanton back in January. Definitely a good player but can't string 3 games together without missing 5 or 6 through injury.

I'm surprised Cook has signed these players - happens all the time - older players in twilight of careers - high risk financially and squad-wise. It has not paid off and it's easy to criticise, now. Good at the time. We need 24-28 year olds not 32-35 year olds - modern fitness or otherwise. No doubt I don't know as much as Cook but look fwd to his continued delivery of success

A couple of very bitter bellends on this board. Can?t we just go through a sticky patch (coinciding with 11 injuries btw) without our manager and coaching staff being pelted with absolute nonsense. It?s totally unnecessary bull and it?s quite clearly personal. Don?t know why I?m surprised, the same pricks were saying the same things last season and we won the league at a canter and players were on the beach by mid March. 😂

Signing Fleck makes Chris O Grady and Ebanks Blake look like quality value for money signings.

Call me a half clapper but actually really proud of the second half effort and application to create chances and hit the post twice when down to ten men says a lot about this team.

I wouldn't go that far Walton! Not even the same ball park in my opinion. Just a gamble that hasn't paid off. If he comes good and ends up being our best player for 2nd half of the season then I'll happily eat my words!

When I saw Fleck against Horsham I was shocked at his physical condition. I was amazed he had been offered a contract.

Without a doubt an issue. Although I thought it would catch up with us next year not this season.

That first goal was one of the most ridiculous moments I?ve had watching town. Mid way through ?all town aren?t we? and we?re one down.

Jessop hung out to dry sadly. Played ok with Drummond up top but hard to tell with MK not really trying. Oldaker brain dread. We need to hang on in there til January and get a few bodies in

Agree. Thought we really showed up second half. Would?ve been interesting if that Colclough shot on the post went in

We made them look better than what they were, asleep for the first , then just getting on top and Mandy misses the one on one and then Oldaker gets himself stupidly sent off and before Cook can make changes Jessop asleep again for their second, we then hit the post twice and did ok with 10 men , our luck has to change soon
Have passport will travel

The advantage with Tanton is that because of his age he does not become part of our 22 and, as such, supplements the squad.

In January it has to be decided if the RB position needs strengthening and, if so, which of or both do we move on Sheckleford or Campbell.

To bring people in we have to either move people out or simply just drop them from the squad named.

I've not seen the action tonight but the crucial question surely, even without that evidence, is 'why didn't Grimes start'? He is contributing to positive outcomes whenever he plays, yet he's been soddin' dropped!!

It?s cooks obsession with having left footed and right footed centre backs, should have played grimes left and araujo right with Williams as right back as for banks as CDM away , clueless

Difficult to understand or believe observing the consequences, but the answer has to be because Jessop did.
