Do you really think there will be no incomings and outgoings of players in January irrespective of injuries?

Back in for Kabamba, perhaps with Hobson and a bit of cash going Barnet's way.

No thanks, 31 turning 32 in January. We have enough old men in the squad as it is, and most of them are out injured!

Any strikers on loan at NL level doing well, who we can nick?

Nobody stands out on the BBC top scorers list. I count six of our ex-players though

Nah that ship will have, rightly, sailed....wrong side of 30 and no real EFL record of note. In fact outside of his recent decent spell with Barnet not much of a record at all.

Could do with getting Palmer, Williams and a couple more of the books to free up wages for a player (s) that?s part of a future squad to build on IMO.

Unless someone wants them and is willing to match their League 2 salaries, ho do you 'move them on" cos if you're suggesting paying them off then that won't free up anything in wages.

Do we think Dunkley will make a full recovery or one for replacement? He's definitely not going to be looking forwards to that first headed clearance.

I have spondylosis and wouldn't head a malteaser let alone a football. I don't know what Chey Dunkley has done to his neck, but hopefully he'll be back in the New Year heading the ball without fear of any further damage to himself.

Correct.

Incorrect. We need some bite and legs in defensive midfield, we need an alternative option to what we have up front, we need a right back that can get out on the grass occasionally and we need an experienced centre half if Dunkley remains an issue.

Whilst of course this is correct, if we want to push on and be in with a shout of the playoffs, we need to strengthen the squad.

Not a chance we will sign another ageing forward. If we bring one in, it will be of the younger variety.

Glad I'm not paying for your shopping list. Clubs who are desperate pay over the odds for rubbish in January, and any striker who's doing well is either, going to cost a mint, or be out on loan already. Sheckleford is on his way back, Mandy can cover. If Fleck comes back ok in the middle of this month,it doesn't look so bad.

Sheckleford isn't L2 standard, nor is Mandeville I'm afraid. Lovely lad - no pace at this level. Fleck? Have you seen the size of him? The only thing he's been biting is a Mars Bar. We need an alternative striker however it's done as don't feel Grigg or Madden will last the season. In terms of who's paying for it - I give you the Kirk brothers - plus there will be some exits too which will free up funds.

Probably but perhaps he deserves a chance. You also need to remember these are 3rd and 4th choices for that position (and then there's Jessop). Agree about Fleck, although he was always a bit chunky I was a bit shocked when I saw him against Horsham. Worrying that even without a hamstring issue he was too exhausted after a full week's training to manage a match day.

I see Harry Cardwell has only had 4 starts at Forest Green. He always did well against us for Southend.

Give Sheckleford a chance, he's only played part of a match. If we can get Fleck back, and fit, he'll rip this league apart. As for freeing up funds, no one will want to pay league two wages in the National League, so I can't see the likes of Palmer or Horden going anywhere. The one player who may free up a wage and that's Berry. Any striker will fetch top money because clubs will see that we're desperate and we have a bit of cash. Just because the Kirk's are fans, doesn't mean they'll roll over and blindly pay.
