Boot
Mandeville Araujo Grimes Gordon
Oldaker Banks
Markanday Dobra Colclough
Grigg
Reading between the lines on what Webb said, I?m hopeful we will have Naylor available & possibly even Jacobs as they seemed more precautionary. Naylor would go into my back 4 for Grimes if so, and Jacobs would help boost a bench that will only really have Berry on it that could make any real impact.
Snap your hand off for a point rn

Personally, I would have brought back Hobson as I feel he is more versatile of the two.
Also Hobson has been in the goals and Drummond hasn't.

One reason that Ash Kirk was in the huddle described by Phil T after the Exeter match could be that Hobson costs us a lot of money to recall, compared to Drummond.

We don't. We cease to receive a payment, in this case for the month of December.

Surely it is just down the fact that there is a lot of cover in the position that Hobson plays. If Naylor is back soon we can add Banks in those positions as well. Drummond is likely to get on the pitch even if it is only for a few minutes. Also I believe Grigg is one game away from a suspension and I there is still a couple of games before the cutoff.
Sorry I meant to reply to Dim's post
On your post we are playing an in form MK so not feeling to confident. Looks like a decent following for a Tues December evening.

Point would be an amazing result. They attack with pace on the counter attack and our general lack of pace at the back and the high line we play, just can?t see anything other than another defeat sadly.

Not saying he isn't ready but he's got serious competition in his positions.
Drummond guranteed minutes if Madden is injured as we very rarely see Grigg play full 90 minutes anyway.
I'd see love to see Berry up top at some point, with Coco out wide. He's proved he's got the pace and eye for a goal, worth looking at as a plan B if Drummond is struggling to get up to pace.

Grimes is our biggest goal threat. All he has to do is position himself near Loz at corners.

More likely is Drummond is already in the league squad but Hobson isn?t. Bringing back Hobson means he?d have to be added so that?s another spot gone.

That would definitely be a consideration if we need to leave some headroom in January for additions?
If we sign a couple in early January could we play them before the squad list is resubmitted in February if we were up to 23 players or is the concept of a squad list torn up for the duration of the January window?

I thought Hobson was more an attacking mid.
Coco and Mandeville play wide - in fact I can see Mandeville slotting in at RB to cover Sheckleford.
Dobra is having an indifferent season - not at his best.
Which leaves Markanday who Hobson can cover for - who could be going back to Blackburn away.
Hobson would be getting game time in my eyes

I do not know if Sheckleford has been added but if he has then adding Hobson would mean we cannot make any more changes until January.

The named squad is only up until the window opening in January i think. Once that window opens you can make changes in terms of taking people out of the list for new players to be added. So obviously someone could leave and be removed but also i think we could drop someone off it if to make room for any new signing. Then the final list is submitted after the window closes to see us to the end of the season.

Dont think he has been added as yet, neither him or Horton would need to have been added to play in any of the EFL Trophy or FA Cup games that have recently. I suspect we are hoping to keep one free should we need to use Horton at left back if anything happened to Gordon.
