Haha I had seggs in the heels of my brogues too mate. I remember kicking the heels on every bit of concrete pavement I could find back then just to make them spark lol.

I bet I still have some in the rammle drawer or in the garage somewhere, although I don't use them much these days as I've followed Jamie Redknapps idea and got myself some Sketchers lol.
Yep, you could really get those sparks flying with seggs mate, although they didn't them on the dance floor in Jingles lol.

I used to wear Trickers brogue shoes, as Doc Martins never got you beyond White's Bar or The Sun. I bought them with a share in a pools win at work or I wouldn't be able to afford them. Great shoes that lasted years, but with seggs on board to save on wear and tear, I was like Bambi going down to the toilets in the Blue Bell lol.

Could this be an annual event if it gets off the ground. Annual Scarf Day each year around a Xmas Fixture at home.

I didn't doubt it mate, very expensive but they just last and last, although I did have them reheeled and soled as required, but the rest just lived on forever.

Don't worry, it was only that I got a share in a pools win or I wouldn't have bought Trickers, Clarke's maybe yeah lol.

A couple (Benno and Zeus, a bit of scope there ) have emailed the club and are probably awaiting a response.

It was originally suggested for the Trannies match, for no other reason than it's the next game, however the new years day game v MKD has been suggested and could be a better option.

Turn up at the next home match dressed in full regalia, and ask a quid per person for a photo with you, and give the proceeds to the Noddy Holder Appreciation Society 😁.

I actually prefer the option of Tranmere for a few reasons...
1) Festive fixtures are already better attended and I think Scarf Day (eventually) might provide an extra sense of occasion/excitement around whichever day it falls on (if it goes well).
2) Tranmere is the first Saturday home match in winter, that's as good a reason as any to get your scarves out and creates a nice little moving holiday to extend the festive football season for us.
3) We've already done a Quigley Tuesdays bit on it Posted Image.

Oh Well.
Fleetwood Mac 1969 a good year for football, music and football badges.

Will you be OK with the Trannies match as suggested?
