Could be an interesting clear up on Saturday morning. Assuming the covers are on with a good covering of snow things should have be relatively simple. However with forecast freeze until early hours on Saturday followed by a sudden thaw with heavy snow/sleet and then rain could make things interesting for the ground staff - depending on exact timing.

I wonder if they will be tempted to clear the pitch on Friday with the forecast frost not so harsh or long on Friday night.

I would think they'll do it Friday given the current temperatures. My car said -5 driving back from just north of Mansfield at 7am.

Hopefully the covers was put in place before we had snow Monday night into Tuesday if so shouldn't be a problem I would think. 🤔🙄

Can't see it being under serious threat. The old Norwegian Meteorological Society (serious weather watchers use them) have it as approaching double figure temperatures by kick off after a wet Saturday morning.

Its getting up above freezing from mid morning, nearly double figures by kick off and no snow\sleet forecast just rain so cant see there being any issues at all.

Norwegians are uncannily accurate as a rule, which is surprising as they're east of us and most of our weather comes from the west. Must be something to do with their alcohol's too expensive to drink much.

*****wept, are we going to play Williams or not. I'm not sold on Tom Naylor as a centre back, and the reason is, we need him in midfield.

Unless anyone "ITK" knows anything - I don't believe so. It is strange he was hoping to be cleared for the Harrogate game and now he's not available for another 6 weeks minimum though.

I think we'll finish just short of play-offs this year and his absence will be a big reason why.

The real worry I suppose is that there is a serious issue with his vertebrae. Surely he'd be in a brace if that was the case?

I'm much more comfortable with Williams and Araujo, with Naylor and Oldaker in front, vs Naylor and Araujo with Oldaker and Banks in front. I really hope we move to that but I can't see it happening.

Pretty much a guarantee. Also put Naylor in midfield. Don't care who PC has in central defence as long as it's not him.

I'm not worried regarding him scoring more his pace to cause havoc.
Look how he won the penalty vs County at Wembley and the the penalty vs us when at Oldham.
More or less the same movement.
That's my worry re Dallas

Similarly their fans take it that Ollie Banks will score against his old team.
