I'm not saying it about Markanday, because I don't know the lad personally, but sometimes older loanees from higher level clubs think that they'll breeze through the lower leagues but it isn't always the case. I'm hoping, with Dilan, it's just a few off games and he's back to his best Saturday.

Wowsers!! Does someone born in 2001 count as 'Older' now then??

We are already seeing Dobra's limitations against bigger, stronger and faster League 2 opponents.

I think it's far too early to be saying things like that. I don't think there's a single player in our squad this season who has set the world on fire so far and we haven't collectively to date either. I think we need to make some allowances for the injuries and the disruption it's caused.

A lot has been said on this messageboard recently about how we've supposedly been found out. The same people making that claim will no doubt acknowledge the number of opposition players pressing Dobra when he has the ball, that's how much the opposition consider him a threat.

I've seen enough of Dobs to realise that he's one of our best players regardless of the level we're playing out.

I tend to agree with you. When I watch Dobra he brings a smile to my face and I get a lift thinking "we're going to score here" then mostly he runs into wall of players and possession is lost. It's not all the time but I'd say 7 out of 10 times. When he clears up that part of his game (like he did the diving) he would grace any league in the EFL. Like Berry though, I don't think Dobra has a good 90 mins in him but if they both did have, they wouldn't be playing L2 imho.
