I don?t think so.
We look horrendous at the minute.
For 2 matches. Get an effing grip.

However I though Boot was about the only player to come out of today with any credit whatsoever.

Quiz question. How many parries by Boot have led to goals conceded in the last 2 games? Top goalies get the ball away from danger when making a great save. I think we'll miss Thompson.

Personally, I think the easiest way of looking at it is, there are probably five teams who can win it: MK Dons, Vale, Donny, county, Walsall. If we can scrape the last playoffs position, who knows what could happen. Anyone thinking we can get automatic is deluded.

It?s ok to criticise a poor performance and that?s totally what today was. We?ve been poor for a while.
Surely you can see that?

Won 75 Drawn 30 Lost 40 since Cook came back. Good runs, bad runs. Good luck, bad luck. Correct management decisions, incorrect management decisions. But at the end of the day we are always in the positive column.

For whatever reason, we are nowhere near having a top goalies' department. This is one of the areas where evolution over 12 months and patience may be required

We are reading different threads in that case.

I?d like to see him have a plan B. That?s all. Or at least be openly reflective in his own performance.

Plan B is get the subs on and it often works. It worked today as we equalised (wish he?d made the changes sooner). Unfortunately we left ourselves open the back and the ref made yet another mistake.

We've won 8 drawn 8 & lost 5 this season. We've lost games we should've won & won games we should've lost, but over all we're doing fine. We've just had a 10 match unbeaten run but I have to witness people wetting themselves because we haven't won 10 in a row. Blinkers? Have a word with yourself.

Not great today but let?s put things into perspective. 3 points off the playoffs and 6 off automatic. Do I think we can get automatic?. Maybe but unlikely. Playoffs, yes.

In my opinion the biggest issue is CB and the knock on CM. We have kept 3 clean sheets all year and only 1 with Naylor at the back. Banks and Dj weren?t good enough for National league as a pair and aren?t for League 2.

So next game Naylor back in CM with the 2 CBs being natural defenders. Ideally Dunkley and Araujo but if not one of Grimes/Williams with Araujo. Having Naylor back in CM should help regain some balance in the team. His drive and energy will help the front 4.

100 per cent agree. i'd also like to see us start with berry and colclough next saturday for a real front foot start to the game.

That's easily said but, perspectives and expectations are somewhat, skewed.

We hammered both Crewe and Doncaster. We should have beaten Gillingham. ****ted by Vale, made
Newport look dreadful.... Accrington made us look like amateurs. Beatey by Harrogate.

Like I say, last playoffs position should be our target. We simply aren't good enough to challenge beyond that. Personally, I think we'll be lucky to scrape it.

I?ve resisted posting for the last couple of weeks but can?t help it tonight even though it changes nothing in general. Rather out of total frustration.

As I?ve said lots of times (even in better times) the manager hasn?t any tactical sense whatsoever. He ploughs his own (very well worn) path which all other managers with any wherewithal read. Easy to play against us, they simply need to press us, we?ll keep possession by passing sideways and backwards, get 70% possession in the stats but lose the game?

We?re vulnerable with every attack even against a poor attacking team like Harrogate. I can?t blame the defence. How many times was JG exposed today one on one because the f?in full backs were too far forward. I really get the impression that players are playing a game which is totally alien to them. From a spectator?s point of view it?s glaring. We have the players but he f?s everything up.

Time to get back to basics.

Does he think he?s managing Liverpool? Dream on. The only way forward for him is back in the NL where his level is found. Unfortunately he still has the support of the directors and the majority of supporters but he?ll be found out sooner or later.

From an attacking point of view we?re completely devoid of ideas. It?s a scandal that our most exciting player is left on the bench, left to pick up the scraps after all fans were waiting for changes from at least from 10 minutes in the 2nd half. Whenever we get the ball there?s 3 defenders on Grigg in the box with no one else following up.

Last week was the worst example: wait until we?re 3 down and make 3 changes with 15 minutes left and let?s hope for a miracle. Four changes today at least 20 minutes too late when you could have taken the pick from anyone outside the defence. When will he learn? Desperation comes to mind rather than thinking things through. I?m a layperson like everyone on this board but you don?t need to have a footballing brain (if that exists) to see where things are going badly wrong.

Too easy to put the blame on the players. Time to take your responsibility PC, stop blaming the players or ?that?s football?. He?s just not up to it which no doubt will get a few reactions?

However if we should target individual players Dobra should never have started today. Crap and disinterested midweek and so selfish in possession today. At least twice he should have given the ball to Mandy in a better position. Markanday was totally invisible. I like OB but he had a bad game today and seems to play too deep, occupying the same space as DJ when we need that extra player forward at critical times.

Like others have said we need to get Naylor back in midfield. Even as a makeshift defender he adds more urgency to our play but better used further forward as he kicks ass.

Although I think that Madden has lost a yard he doesn?t suddenly become a bad player overnight. Quite honestly if he?s just there to replace Grigg it?s a waste of money. He?s got so much more to add to our game by coming from deep and using the space which Grigg doesn?t normally use. Personally I?d like to see both used from the start of a game

Goes without saying that Berry is our only outlet at the moment, what a total waste to see the lad used in the last chance saloon. He?ll no doubt move on to better pastures in the New Year with a club which appreciates his potential.

We have the squad but will it be used effectively going forward?

Maybe we?ll get lucky??

We need luck on the basis of what we?ve witnessed so far
