Not sure Metcalfe offers that. But we do, yes.

Let?s not be looking to deflect blame here.
This was not the ref?s fault at all.

Let?s be looking a lot closer to home.

Is it the fans fault?

Naylor is there because we're lacking Dunkley and he's a better right footed defender than Williams, unfortunately. And I do mean unfortunately, because we need him alongside Oldaker and Banks sat on the bench, please. Banks and Oldaker is not the pairing. Not one bit. If just one of Dunkley, Metcalfe or Fleck were fit, things would be a lot rosier, for sure.

It's a sorry state of affairs if a midfielder is considered a better centre half than an actual centre half.

Poor performance but we are gonna have off days. We have injuries to contend with which isn't helping. There were too many players off it today. The front 3 behind Grigg were anonymous the whole game plus Banks can't play in a 2 with Oldaker.

First season back in the league, we are holding our own and playing some decent football.

That has to be the most uncombative midfield in years, so weak its untrue.
Dobra is pointless and embarrassing all game, just loves rolling around on the floor.
Banks well he's never been a hard tackling midfielder.

Cook needs to change the game quicker instead of falling out with the ref all the time.

Harrogate pressed us to death and we couldn't cope with it, credit where credit is due.

Dobra's antics were tedious in the extreme today. Needs a spell back on the bench.

Port Vale are running away with it on similar budget. A big strong pacy outfit who will take some stopping. We could do with some pace and strength in our team and perhaps in January we will sort it out.

Don't see how Harrogate passed us to death, what I would agree with

Dobra , your such a talent but the theatrics are embarrassing

Banks too lightweight to play in a midfield two.

Naylor has to play in midfield

Berry or Colclough should start the game on the left.

Markandy was a disappointment today

Dobra is having very little impact this season, he let's the opposition get to him too easily! Bring Hobson back and send Dobs out on loan to gain some confidence.

Aye, but it doesn't mean it's not factually accurate, unfortunately. I like Williams, and maybe he's decent back up for the right sided centre half position, and I like Grimes who always gives his all. I wouldn't play 'em together at this level.

And that's okay, Zigs. I get the disappointment and all that, and we were pretty much dross all round, today. Just annoying that we can't lose without immediately being relegation fodder who never should have got rid of the randy nose-biter. Embarrassing, really.

Probably one poster on here has mentioned relegation as a possibility. Most are bemused at Cook's reluctance to change tactics and selection when it's evidently not working.

It's embarassing to pretend otherwise.

As per your previous comment, if injuries are the problem, why are we starting a season with only two CBs we think are capable of playing at this level? Same goes for up top (one striker). Whilst we can field around 3 entirely different trios of attacking midfielders!

People can blow as much smoke up the messiahs arris as they like? But he's not immune to criticism and is dropping some right old clangers at present.

Too many players at this club who just aren?t good enough for this level, and the ones who are some of them are out injured.

We will limp on to mid table, but unless the results at home pick up there will be a massive drop in attendances next season IMO.

In the Harrogate end today, ref was terrible, never a foul for their first, almost carbon copy of Accrington's first last week. Grigg constantly having his shirt ripped off him, how he hasn't stopped play for the winner is a joke.

Markanday & Dobs quiet, really liked Mandy in the 10, moves the ball so well and doesn't stop running.

Naylor at the back isn't ideal but does move the ball well and thought Banks was good switching play, lots of complimentary comments from the Harrogate fans around me.

Not getting rub of the green recently, definitely an improvement on the embarrassment of last week but massively shafted to not come away with a point today.

Unless 'properly' injured, laying on the floor leaving us down to 10 men is inexcusable. I've never been a fan of his 'antics', but it's getting ridiculous now. He also seems to have forgetten he's allowed to pass the ball to better placed team mates for them to have a shot.

That's a little hyperbolic. He was improving - that's the general consensus. We have a lightweight soft underbelly. Cook needs to bring a few heavies in in Jan and move out the Nat league players

My patience is out with him right now. Might mellow but probably not. Colclough wasn't impressed with him failing to play him in down the right when we won the corner which they broke and scored from.

Absolute nothing game that. Draw would have been fair as neither team were up to much. Can anyone tell me why there wasn?t a drop ball in the lead up to their winner?
