So hes persisting with Naylor at CB with the Banks and Oldaker combo in CM 🤔. I hope Im proved wrong and I certainly dont want to be lumbered in with the bedwetters club like Brittas & Walton et al but this doesnt inspire me with confidence

I was lambasted last week for not making a negative defeat post before the Accrington match, so in an attempt at reverse psychology I?m going for a 2-0 home win and we don?t get a sniff up front .

Off topic, couple of snippets of gossip from someone I know who has been right a few times with signings. Two promising players arriving in January from Gateshead and Altrincham, one a midfield and one a centre half. No idea of any names yet, but other clubs in our league also in the hunt too.

Yep. Two centre halves on the bench whilst we continue to play our best midfielder in a position he's not particularly that good in. Very strange.

Eddy Jones is the centre half at Altrincham, who was a player who impressed me massively last season when we played them.

Aye, it baffles me to be honest. I really rate Araujo so cant see why hes in the squad if hes not fit and if he is fit he should be starting for Banksy today with Naylor pushed back into CM. Obviously just my opinion and I've never won League 2 like PC has!!!

Hate Naylor and Grimes at the back. Hate Oldaker and Banks in the middle.
Prove me wrong lads.

It's his job on the line, not those who clamour for changes. He's on his 7th managerial job, and only been sacked once. What does that tell you?

I mean I cant particularly see TN being that happy continuing to play out of position??? It may be me reading it wrong but his body language suggests he ain't that comfortable playing there? Plus he was involved in almost everything good we did going forward before being pushed to play at CB?Crewe and Donny away good examples.

I think Jamie is still better in physical aerial battles than Harvey. That said, had we been playing Harrogate at home, then Harvey might well have started.

Actually id agree with that, bringing him on for Harvey at HT against Morecambe to handle Dackers was a big turning point, well, alongside the introduction of Bez too!

Just don?t get it. 2 centre backs on the bench and Naylor playing there.

Has he completely forgotten what Naylor did last year?

Naylor at cb isn?t stemming the goals, either. It?s not as though he?s winning us games from there.

Can anyone explain?
