There's no need to rewrite history. He was clearly very adept from that point of view but it was his character we didn't want associated with the club - and that's fine.

He did well with the cards stacked in his favour for a number of reasons. And that's fine.

I?m with this. Appreciate what he did turning us round but I?m sure a lot of managers would have liked the free rein he had to bring players in etc to help. However there was a cloud over him and his actions some of which I heard first hand from someone on the receiving end of it. There is a big difference between what is enough for a guilty verdict and enough for an employer to decide it?s better to go separate ways.

The club would have been bound to answer, in court. That answer doesn't appear in the article. Does anyone know what the answer was?

That?s not true. On the Harrogate thread people - including myself - are saying there needs to be a clear out of players who are not suited to L2 football as opposed to national league. This is miles away from the claim of revolving door scenario.

Without a doubt the best manager ppg we will ever have
2 losses all season and playing in front of 40000 at the European Champions
A 60 percent win rate taking over a failing club heading to oblivion
Does anyone think Cook would have come in at the time JR left Gloucester? Of course not, the foundations had been laid
James Rowe saved our football club and we should all be eternally grateful and equally ashamed by his treatment
Come on Mr Edson that?s absolute tripe you fruit loop
He?s got a mate in the media to write an article for him and your clamouring for his ejaculate

Who do you want to clear out and when? It sounds like a few.
Surely if you are arguing for a clear out (something I don't necessary agree with) you are arguing for a revolving door scenario unless you don't plan to replacement them.
To me you have given S&D an open goal if he can be bothered.

Took us from relegation fodder to the playoffs with 2points a game almost immediately!
And I?m deluded 😂
Show me the criticism pre Chelsea from anyone please
Actually I raised a few questions about the sheer number of signings, after lad on loan came from , was it Blackpool or was on the way to Blackpool?
Got pelted a for it mind you - but it concerned me that he?d signed so many players, his players and still didn?t seem to make any team so wanted even more players
