Juast to give a bit of perspective Paul Fisher has said it's only the second defeat in 41 at home and the first for 43 we haven't scored. No town team in my lifetime have had such an incredible home record. However that will cut no ice with the wristslashers who expect us never to lose a game ever. Everyone can expect an off day - even Man City were thraped in the week. Of course it must not be allowed to happen regularly.

Rubbish today, but we are still 9th and will not be in a relegation battle

We can?t win every game and I?m still confident we will make a run for the play offs, after the years of non league misery though I?d be happy with a solid top half finish followed by a good go next season

Wonder how many threads Walton will make this evening 😂

I'd expect Paul to say that and of course he is correct.

However

This result has been coming. Opposition teams appear to know exactly how to play against us at home and we have no answer to their low blocks and quick counters from our long ineffective spells of possession.

Cook really needs to sort it, it's happening too often and hasn't been addressed effectively.
The greatest miscarriage of justice since my case against the producers of the Never Ending Story

I have no problem losing a game, it's the abject performance that brought it on, that I have a problem with, we were do bad today, I never want to see that kit again.
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

We were poor against Morecombe and for me playing Naylor at the back when he?s a strong midfielder and relatively weak defender is asking for trouble. Bit of a rain check today but overall we?ve had a decent start to season punctuated by a few too many injuries to field a settled team.
