Absolutely spot on - it's Will Grigg's fault that the ref gave the pen against Notts, and that the entire team was **** against Port Vale, and that we've had a number of ridiculous red cards.

Unfortunately only getting a goal or assist every 95 mins this season is distracting everyone from how bad he really is. If you actually think about it 31 goals in 51 league games is actually rubbish.

What planet are you living on?

The more pertinent question is - 'Which town is he a supporter of?'.

I really don't get this.

Runaway champions last season with Grigg a leading scorer.

'Meh, he won't do it at EFL 'cos he din't last time' sneered his critics.

But here we are with a leading scorer again. Part of a side that's not just re-established itself, but in the play offs.

Meanwhile Cook strengthens the squad with pretty much every signing. Probably the best pound-for-pound manager in the land. He knows what he's doing.

We've had it bad. Very bad. In fact short of actually shutting down the worst we could've had it. So why can't folk just appreciate the polar opposite to the characters that took us there....?
Never underestimate the stupidity of people

This has got to be one of the most unhinged threads ever. And that?s saying something.

Have to say, this threads original post is ageing well!!

You look at the naysayers who've thrown the negative tuppence in like Bonnyman, and I can only think......

....there is a reason these naysayers don't have a football career!

And you can't read that he's ridiculing the poster he's replying to...thank you to the puritan clown who wants us to leave one of our more creative players out of the squad for something looking like self defense.

He was gash today. Took madden to come on for us to look dangerous.

Ah well just the 3-4k a week for a few tap bins.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

How you must crave for results like today to spout your drivel. Grigg was having to contend with not one but two man markers who consistently pulled him, grabbed him, pushed him, all going unpunished by the ref. He's still amongst the top scorers in L2, 25 goals last season....but hey, don't let these facts get in the way of your sad agenda against him.

You see that?s the problem , nobody doubts Griggs ability to score goals , he is the king of the 6 yard box, but he can?t run in behind and stretch teams, for a manager who supports Liverpool we never ever counter attack, like they do and flood the oppositions half quickly, bizarre, I think he is a secret city fan

We should play more like Liverpool and sign a striker who is tall, quick, powerful and a good finisher. Any more tips for Cook, bonnyman?
