I know I'm going to get pelters for this but is he really actually any good?

Been trying to articulate my thoughts on this and I wonder if our playing style really suits him.

Not convinced he should be the man moving forwards. He's no Eoin Doyle.

Player of month ! Brilliant. Even with town fan thinking he?s tripe 😂

I think any decent striker would have scored more than him in this team playing the same amount of minutes.

Chesterfield are creating an insane amount of chances. We could and should be higher in the table.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

How many of these chances fell to Grigg and he didn't take advantage of them, I can only recall a couple where he could have done better?

wWell done Will Grigg , more than happy for any player representing the club to pick up the award,

But let?s be real it?s a joke award with no substance as it?s awarded by pillocks let?s face it Walsall?s Nathan Lowe is in a different league as player in the last month he ripped us apart

As I said I will take it

Over the course of October Lowe scored less goals in more minutes on the pitch than Grigg did.....

Madden has proved over the years that he is a decent striker. Yes, he has had an injury but he has only scored one goal from open play plus a penalty.

Grigg, too, sustained an injury but he has only managed nine goals I believe, from open play. He really needs to buck his ideas up otherwise those other strikers that have scored less will start catching him up!!!

Yes, but in the one game he?s watched Lowe, he scored twice.

Dont be a prat...just saying that on the basis of this award Grigg did more than Lowe over the month for how they will award it, rest is just opinion. Lowe was impressive against us, presumably less so when he played 90 mins as they lost 6-2 at home to Fleetwood the game before.

For what its worth i think grigg does a very good job of running defences around and causing them problems.

Once again.......' it's a joke award, awarded by pillocks' ....... you have to make the compliment double edged because of who has won it.Really is time to admit how good he is for us,and I think you really do know that just that you criticised him from day 1 and are finding it difficult not to keep going down the same blind alley.

Great to see a proper striker after losing Kabby in the way we did.

Our so called fans that still diss Will Grigg are genuinely demented! I remember saying a few games into last season what an intelligent footballer he is?.if he?s not threatening, he?s moving around the last third to open opportunities for others.
He?s a class, class ?proper? striker who we are lucky to have

That he is, man. I can only assume that there's a pride issue, for some. Sometimes it's good to be proven wrong!

Absolutely spot on - it's Will Grigg's fault that the ref gave the pen against Notts, and that the entire team was **** against Port Vale, and that we've had a number of ridiculous red cards.

Unfortunately only getting a goal or assist every 95 mins this season is distracting everyone from how bad he really is. If you actually think about it 31 goals in 51 league games is actually rubbish.

What planet are you living on?
