And charity? Nah

How convenient. And, how convenient you have forgotten your negative behaviour.

It's on this board. Certain members wanted to see it and said they'd donate to the winner's cause.

You don't remember me saying it'd be like Tyson v Bowe? I distinctly made that comparison.

Name a single time and who with? You must have so many to choose from, so name one....

And, for the record, it was CPS who was acting 'hard', so I decided to put his hardness to the test222 and offered it as a charity match.

Thought it was you that wanted to meet Goku in a pub carpark - apologies if it wasn't you on that occasion. I seem to remember it was met with great hilarity.

Josh? Don't be daft. I have plenty of time and respect for him.

I've never 'offered anyone out' on this board, so I don't really appreciate you fabricating complete bollox. I don't care if you don't like what I write, but don't lie about me. Debates have got heated and sometimes include naughty swear words, but that's as far as they've ever gone.

There was a potential punch up outside the Boot and Shoe. I think Goku was many pints deep and made the offer to someone but could be remembering wrongly!

Funnily enough it was me after we lost to Solihull and we all got a bit worse for wear ( they were complete thugs and nearly crippled half our team )
Too much ale that night and like you say weve lived and weve learned brother
But by God was that league was frustrating !!!!

Maybe, a more sophisticated approach would have been more successful, like meeting for a coffee.

With the benefit of hindsight, it wouldn't

Very tempting I guess

As I recall you and Misnomer were having an elongated difference of opinion (as if anyone could believe such a scenario 🤣🤣) and another poster said something along the lines of FFS why don?t you two just get in the ring and sort it out once and for all with some white collar boxing for charity, then at least there?d be a point?

From here on (paraphrased):

CPS: ?Yeah I?d definitely be up for that?
Misnomer: ?I?ll spark you out and break all your ribs?
CPS: ?oh dear?

If I can be ar*ed at some point I may look back and find it, but the above basically covers it. It?s definitely there in the ether somewhere

Sounds like CPS was wise to decline the offer if you read the Colclough thread

Crikey, it only seems like last year but that is probably more to do with my failing memory. Anyway I deeply apologise for causing you any embarrassment for bringing it up.

I heard Colclough was being lined up to face the winner but he pulled out when he was told he wasn?t allowed to wear his moon boot this time

Not sure the "only doing it for charity" bit will work a second time but maybe Ryan could try that one on.

Yes, what is it that made you so keen to have a coffee with CPS, was it because he reminds you of that thing Gareth Hunt used to do with his hand in the old Nescaf? adverts? 🤔 (one for the older viewers 😂)

Now, now.

I used to envy Gareth Hunt, working with Purdy.
