Fully agree,we have some good youngsters trying to find their feet (suppose I should have worded that better,giving Walton an open net for his cringeworthy comments) in the real world,and I don't yet see any that will set out to let the team down,I see effort and putting a shift in.That's thumbs up from me after our recent history.

Sums up his game perfectly for me.

Matty Palmer, Scott Robertson and Dan Crowley are extremely capable and experienced FL midfielders and they showed it in blocks of the game today. It was tough in midfield areas at times.

I like Metcalfe but I?m not sure playing alongside Oldaker or Banks is good. Both mentioned switch off defensively in the deeper role and I think Metcalfe playing alongside Naylor is a completely different beast.

I think both Metclalfe and Araujo had decent games, yes their inexperience showed now and again, but they'll get better.
