Besides the fact that it was a jab at people complaining about politics in football, are you unaware of:

Dad's Army, Allo Allo, that episode of Fawlty Towers with the Germans, Dr Strangelove, Jojo Rabbit, The Great Dictator or Catch-22, plus I assume many more?
