In that dark period of the club I?d like to think James Rowe is the last of the bad things to happen to us for a very long time. The last of the turds to be flushed away is how I see it.

Putting the court case to one side, he kept us up and that's it, apart from seeing more players than supporters through the build, that is. You talk to Paul Cook about football and he'll listen, but I don't think you'd have got more than a yawn from Rowe.

Rowe began sending her messages to arrange the appointment asking her "would anybody reconise me?" The woman said: "I thought, you're only the manager of Chesterfield, not a celebrity?

This absolutely creased me

I don?t think Carson cared did he?
Rowe?s nickname in football should have been an eye opener for a start!
That and the ban from English football.

Not to mention the cringy ?Cruyff Academy? BS

I'm sure it's was pointed out the appointment was post-Carson last time you said that! Rowe was appointed by the Trust.

In isolation, yes. In the context of this no.

If he?s found guilty I guarantee he won?t get prison. I doubt he would have ordinarily but with the situation in prisons these days there isn?t the remotest222 chance of him doing time.
I would also think that with the amount of time he?s been waiting presumably without being able to earn a living he has already been punished.
Of course the complainant has also had to endure the ridiculous length of time.
The state of the justice system seems to epitomise the state of this broken country.

"Of course the complainant has also had to endure the ridiculous length of time".
Has she?

That may be the case, but he's brought them in for now and the future and treats them properly.
Rowe would buy players one day and then bin them off. Plus I don't think he was at all helpful in players injured / coming back from injury.

12 actually, but 60% of EFL2 starts this season have been made by players who were here last season, so whilst the new face number is high, there remains a substantial level of continuity.

Don’t tar them all with the same brush.
I worked for a Health Minister who was excellent.

Some posts have been deleted and quite rightly. Probably should be locked until it's concluded.

Some very strange people on this board. It seems one or two really do think women habitually make false accusations of sexual offences, presumably because they enjoy being humiliated.
This board is actually infested with lowlife slugs isn't it.

You probably rolled out the same spiel on the Evans/Greenwood and Mendy threads as well.

This board is littered with these threads. Pages of insinuations, accusations and libel. Followed by silence, until the next one comes along and all is forgotten. Might be an idea for people to wait until a trial ends, or at least until the 'evidence' is made public before sticking their oars in.

Greenwood was videod threatening violence if his partner didn't have sex with him.

Evans had group sex whilst married and with a young family.

Do you look up to this type of person? Would you want your daughter to be in a relationship with such a person?
