There are always some daft opinions on here

Bonnymans hatred of Grigg is one of the daftest2 in my opinion, but I can at least see how people can have different opinions on players

Yet for any Town fan to hate Paul Cook as much as COYB does is simply ridiculous, I know plenty of people hated the way he left last time and called him a snake (which was also ridiculous) but to keep that hatred going with what he has achieved at this club makes no sense

Agreed. As for COYB it?s clearly personal , no one can be that stupid regarding cooks ability(or lack of) as a manager.

I tell you what is daft , saying somebody hates somebody, I actually want him to score goals but I?m a realist and I know that a 34 year old striker who isn?t really a hold up player is going to struggle , yes he will get the occasional tap in, that?s his bread and butter but as a soldo forward he isn?t even nuisance value against some of the big strong defenders, they know they don?t need to back off when he has the ball as he isn?t going to turn and run, now if we can find a way to get madden close to him he might be seen in a better light it hasn?t been tried yet

Just had a quick read. A lot of posters come across badly but it?s no surprise as regular readers will know how that?s how they always come across (sad and coyb to name 2 obvious ones)

You have to wonder what prompted the poster to join the messageboard on 15/02/22 and do nothing but criticise Cookie and the club.

The period in question was a turbulent time for the club as it confirmed Rowe's suspension on 24/01/22 and his subsequent dismissal on 04/02/22. Cookie was appointed on 10/02/22.

Talking of Rowe, the start of a big week for him and his supporters.

Interesting. Something amiss with the fella either way. Zero chance his opinion can be based on cooks ability as a manager even tho he tries to say it is. If it?s genuine then maybe football isn?t for him because he knows absolutely zilch.

One thing is for sure, if we create him chances Grigg will score goals
Perhaps our set up hinders him but he brings far more to the team than being a goalscorer

I have mentioned on another thread along with Osb.Again that I would like to see Grigg and Madden start together.Do you have any thoughts regarding the possible reasons I stated regarding finding a suitable striker?

cook has said in interviews that he will play them together, we have to realise that both have had injury starts to the season so it just hasn't happened yet, cook manages injuries well i believe, it can feel frustrating for fans wanting it all to happen NOW but if he rushes players back and then they go out injured for long periods what good does that do us? cook has to manage a 46 plus game season and he is experienced and successful in doing that.
Some of the criticism is embarassing to be honest

I don't think either HB58 or myself are expecting both Grigg and Madden to play in the same starting eleven just yet, because it's obvious that Madden is still not 100%. I am very happy with the start we've made, because the teams we've played haven't been anything like pushovers.

So Cook joins the club on 10/02/22, only for COYB to sign up to the board just 5 days later and proceed to do nothing but slag him off for 2 years straight?
This is like an episode of poirot, I can?t wait to find out who?s behind the mask 😂

Must admit that I don't religiously listen to all interviews and that was one I missed.Agree with how he treats injuries, unlike his predecessor. The sentence regarding a new striker was me stating to Bonnyman how his call for a top striker to be brought in throws up so many variables and no doubt even more that we are not privy too.

He's certainly not a supporter, even if he thinks he is. Cook could win the next ten games 10-0 and he'd still probably say we only played adequately.

Stranger than @eclecticpizzaco on Twitter, remember that account? Although the account has been deleted, you can see from the date & time stamps on the replies that that account was tweeting anti CFC content from approximately 10/02/22. Looking at BB, it appears that Westbars Spireite managed to capture some of content here (https://www.thecfss....dpost&p=1668097).

By coincidence, Cum on u blues replied to Westbars' post here (https://www.thecfss....dpost&p=1668269). The mind boggles why the poster would want to know where everyone lives and how much they cost the club including the backroom staff.
