We?ve made a solid start to the season & we really should have won two or the three of the games we?ve drawn.
We hammered a good Doncaster & let?s be fair, we hammered a good Gillingham side with no result.
We have a very high quality squad & there?s a lot more to come I think. We are definitely going in the right direction

7 of our first 10 opponents sit above us in the table (make that 8/11 next week) so that could indicate we've had a tough run of fixtures from teh start, early days but we look fine in this league and i can see us being in and amongst it throughout the season, hard to get your head off the idea of having to finish top to go up, all be it the top 3 currently all have the same points tally anyway.

We?re probably 4 or 5 points short of where we should be based on the performances I have seen which would put us right up there. Long season ahead and plenty of points to play for. I think we currently have a top 5 squad but our team is play offs at best as we haven?t managed to get our best 11 sorted yet plus things haven?t really clicked. Still confident we will have a very decent season.

The only drama for me is that yet again we have dropped unnecessary points and Cook still has no idea what his best first eleven or formationn is! It certainly wasn't the one on the pitch at the start....
Once he works that out We should be top 7 comfortably!!!

It's early days but we've held our own without setting the world on fire, with today being a perfect example.
At 2-2, I did expect us to get a third straight after our second goal, but Walsall's injuries achieved what they set out to!
We're still establishing ourselves and we will get better.

I think it was a point gained today rather than 2 dropped. They were decent, and coming from behind twice shows a lot of grit and character in this squad.

Those that expected us to come up and beat everything in front of us similar to what we did last year a level below were just being unrealistic to be honest. League 2 looks a highly competitive league to me, I don?t see much of a difference in a lot of the teams, all have threats in certain areas and any side can win a game on any given day.
I?m hopeful that as our team starts to settle down and Cook establishes a best XI, then we will find some consistency and go on to have a good season.

I don't think anyone knows what the best side is. I'm sure we are a way from finding it but strongly suspect it will include Fleck and Colclough starting and right back at right back.

I think Cook, and all us faux managers, know what our best side isn?t, but due to the length of season and trying to keep everyone fit and match ready is the juggling match that Cook is doing at the moment. I pay no heed to those who think they can do a better job.

The reason we don?t know the best 11 is because we have numerous good options in most places?.that?s not a disaster.

that stat requires some credit to everyone at the club, and lets be honest that one defeat (kidderminster last season) we almost played out of obligation to the fixture list, i can't even remember who the previous team to win at our place was.
