Looks promising for the year ahead.

He is not good enough, weak, no pace and has zero effect on a game, he simply has done nothing to deserve a start and grimes is out his depth no positional sense whatsoever

Hate to say it but I agree on both. Massive question marks over Grimes at this level. Jacobs not impacting matches. That said, with Araujo out due to the Donny injury it was only ever Jamie who was going to step in at LCB, so the only poor decision for me was Jacobs.

With Cheek up front and the other bloke in their team who was about 6 feet 10, I've no doubt the lads were told not to give silly free kicks away in our own half. But we did and they got their 2nd goal from it. Poor from Grimes sticking a leg in when he didn't need to and then poor all round not defending the free kick. Frustrating because we ought to have won that. Bromley dragged us into a battle, especially 2nd half, and we didn't get going. Better 1 point than none.

Agree with that, though hardly a baffling selection. Saturday may be an interesting one though?.

Away win. *We can?t win unless 2 or more goals ahead. *Jacobs and grimes are terrible. *Oldaker most improved from last season, quality again MOM.

I expected a minimum of 4 changes though with Tanton, Aroujo, and Dobra picking up injuries and Madden having played the minutes he did against Donny.

So, I wasn?t surprised by 5 and of those 5 I would suggest 4 were nailed on as almost automatic replacements.

We have a few players still not ready to play full games as they are regaining fitness after injury so it is to be expected that the squad is being nursed in a week of 3 games in 8 days.

Must admit, though, I was expecting Fleck to be in the squad tonight.
