Just had a statement from the owls pop up on my news feed, that I haven't seen anywhere else (apologies if old news), seems they've banned someone for abhorrent social media posts after a west brom fan took ill and died at Hillsborough. Terrible.

Condolences to the friends and family of the fella who died.

Just watched look North with The story highlighted. A lot of fans wondered why the game wasn't stopped. The FA guidelines state that play can continue.

I guess each ground \ situation is different ? Seems a bit harsh to carry on.

The game being televised appeared to be a factor as it would force attention on the incident was the reasoning I took from the Look North piece

From what I can gather so far he?s been arrested, sacked from his job, banned for life by the owls and to top it off had his membership of Hillsborough golf club suspended so likely will be kicked out of there as well.

Good. I shouldn't be shocked at how idiotic people can be especially when it comes to social media. It's frightening that any idiot has access to such platform to spout utter gash

I mean how stupid must you be. Police must laugh at the stonewall evidence presented to them that's 100 percent traceable

Some folk to think that it's fine to post absolutely anything on social media. It doesn't matter if it's hurtful to others, well I bet he'll think twice in future, but I'm probably kidding myself that he has a brain.
Apart from this, I don't use social media because it started as a force for good but now it's used to spread hatred and untruths, and I don't want any part of it.
Feel sorry for the person who passed away.

I wonder if he actually saw it as it happened on the telly or even worse, from inside the ground. As you say, a sick individual .
