Exactly

It's just the call of the wild. Killer Whales eat cute seals, Bears mierda in the woods and Tory politicians are beholding to KGB spies and dubious off shore companies

Beat me to it. Unsurprising to see typical Tory scumbaggery even whilst they're not in power. They just can't help it, it's part of their make up, perhaps we shouldn't be so critical of them bearing this in mind?

Then we have some character called Christian Hacking given a platform to claim Enoch Powell's infamous 'Rivers of Blood' rant "is now a highly conservative speech" and called for the party to "apologise and unsmear his name for what in hindsight has been a fair and accurate prediction of what came". Going on to say "Surely it's about time we made a statement saying Enoch (affectionate use of first name) shouldn't have been treated as he was for the statements he made".

https://news.sky.com...nce%20secretary

I guess this is the same Christian Hacking who's some uber zealous Christian and anti abortion campaigner: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-52561592#:~:text=A%20judge%20dismisses%20Christian%20Hacking's%20bid%20to%20overturn%20a%20ban

Either way it's not clear if he's a tory member. But it's really quite disturbing how many applauded...

There is a quaint post on the Labour thread (can't remember from whom) suggesting if the Tories can return to the middle ground they will win by a landslide at the next election. Return to the middle ground with all the misogynistic rantings and race baiting so far at the conference and its hardly started

Too many words to respond fully too but..

1. Is a question with a question mark at the end a gleeful Internet prediction or a question?

2.was the Labour landslide really a landslide or did they get less votes than the election before but every other party did much better... except the Tories obvs!

3 grown up govt... do grown ups grab every freebie, when on ?170k a year? Di they suffer a conference vote against their first policy implementation? Do they suffer the fastest222 ever defection after an election?

4. Be careful dissing Truss, we haven't seen the Reeves budget and response yet...and the quality papers seem to think everything rumoured us anti growth and rewriting the debt rules might spook the markets...

Let's see how that goes and then see what the wider world thinks of the new govt...

Good ol' Ian.

Yet another post on the Tory topic, yet another post totally ignoring every point made about 'em, and yet another post trying desperately to make it all about Labour instead.

But hey, at least there's a kinda consistency to your, erm, inconsistency...

Liz stress reckons that this country is run by (I quote) ?an underground transgender mafia? and they plotted to get rid of her as PM.

They sound very very cool

You should be relish the fact that the heat is on the 'trans mafia' and she isn't blaming muslims. The rest of her crowd are.

This woman is increasingly teetering on madness: https://www.bbc.co.u...20better%20than

https://www.independ...n-b2621329.html

https://www.cityam.c...ne-rishi-sunak/

https://www.scotsman...rsement-4803756

But whilst she's reduced to touring right wing platforms like this peddling her delusions, those loudly applauding her endorsing the Trumps of the world get a vote on the next tory leader.

Which is, of course, terrific news for Labour.

Not as good as discovering the UK's 'already a socialist state', though...

I wouldn't place Cleverly in the Victorian Freak Show category - not the Victorian part anyway.

OK he's had a few blips, joking about 'date rape drugs', calling a Labour town a "s***hole" and calling the previous governments flagship policy " a bats**t policy".

Think he is quite cuddly though so I hope he does well. He reminds me of Popeye's mate Bluto.

Remember him having a real head-to-head with Streeting during the election.

But then, I'm pretty sure thinking he was off camera, turned and gave Wes a proper matey handshake.

That spoke to me of a decent enough bloke behind the politician - in fact far too decent to be elected leader of the current tory party...

The most consistent thing is like any politician, you never answer the question preferring personal digs.

look I think they are all ######, you think one is and the others have sun shining out of their *rs*s, only one of us is right. The next 5/4/3 years will prove it. I can wait...

Clearly Badenoch and Jenrick have decided no despicable depth is too deep to plumb in their bid for the bigot ballot.

But impugning our own armed forces? In fact the best of the best?

https://aoav.org.uk/...80%99s%20recent

Surely anyone peddling wobble-eyed lies just to smear European institutions which the UK in large part created will never be taken seriously, though.

Oh, wait...

Question: to where does an ally of the disgraced Boris Johnson, an ardent Brexiter who's spent years demanding the UK leave the ECHR, go to appeal his conviction for sleaze?

Answer: well, the, errr, ECHR, of course...

A staunch labour supporter has posted 10 out of the last 18 posts on a thread about the opposition, all at a time when his beloved are only three months into the big change and making all our lives sunny and fine.

Anyone think someone?s trying his very best to deflect attention away from the absolute shambles unfolding in No.10?
