Thanks to all the supporters who came and spoke to us today following our mammoth 28 mile walk for Ashgate Hospice last night. So many kind words and further donations in the concourse. To raise ?5.5k in a short time is test2ament to how much people thought not only of our friend Glenn Kirkwood but also about the astonishing work that Ashgate do. The applause that we received walking towards the away end at half time will stay long in the memory. Thank you Spireites

Amazing effort from you all. Great cause, great way to celebrate Glenn's life and even the stars aligned and town gave a performance to remember!

Hope you all made it back to Wingerworth intact and are knee deep in ale in the barley mow recovering. You all thoroughly deserve it....
