24/9/24 Mansfield U18 0 Chesterfield U18 1 (Jack Brassey 77 mins) - in the U18 Youth Alliance Cup tournament. Six teams in the Group, CFC P3 W2 D1 L0 so a solid start.

Brassey was a defender but has been pushed up as a striker this season, generally coming off the bench, and he's scored a couple since his switch.

Good game, Chesterfield marginally the better side over the 90 minutes against a Cat 3 Academy.

Can we do a Notts daily double? The U23s away at Ollerton Town tonight (7.30pm) in a friendly.
