I'm in the family stand part of the West Stand and generally its not too bad round there although there was one bloke who i dont recognise from being a regular in there getting a bit tetchy as the game went on Saturday telling people to shoot from places that was ridiculous or to just get it aimlessly into the box.

I'm in FS6 and there's one regular in particular in his early twenties that when we are winning he's on his feet singing the towns praises but should we go behind or not win the game he's straight on the players backs. He was told on Saturday by neighbouring supporters about shouting out foul and abusive language in the family section where there are lots of youngsters as his aggresion and language was upsetting a lot of the kids. Last season he turned on an elderly couple behind him in a threatening and abusive manner because they dared to tell him to calm it down. I've not seen that eldery couple at all this season. They have obviously changed seats because of him and that incident in particular. He sits with his Dad and on Saturday his Dad was told by several people to have a word with him and his Dads response to every one of them was " It's nothing to do with me. What do you want me to do about it? "
It's obvious where the blame for his behaviour lies. However at the final whistle a chap with his two small children went to a steward and reported him as he said he was going to do. We were only a few seats away and we heard the steward telling him to sit back down in his seat and not to move as they wanted a word with him. His Dad just left the stadium and left him there with the stewards. It say's it all really. I'm looking forward to the Notts County game to see if this selfish idiot and his pathetic apology for a father are sitting back in their usual season ticket seats and if they are just what his behaviour will be like. Most of the regulars in that area have been sick and tired of him for a few seasons now. He spoils everyone's match day experience not just the kids.

Because we have got to know them after years of sitting near them mate. His Dad has been taking him since he was around 13/14 years of age.
His Dad once told me he is his only child.

From experience of sitting in the Kop S4 and West C4 so far this season, the West stand is far far worse. Miserable as **** and don't get behind the side when things are going well and add to the atmosphere, but the first to start shouting up when things aren't going well

You can do both as most fans probably have at some point in their past, which I'd argue the Kop does, as the majority around me in S5 get behind the side as much as possible.

You've chose the wrong target if you think the problem is the Kop, it's those in the West stand Cook is fed up of

A few are too quick to offer their words of 'advice'.

I often think back to an interview Brian Clough did with Brian Moore in the nineties. Clough said that his three kids frequently had a go at him for his lack of academic qualifications and his curt reply was always the same, do you want me to go upstairs and get my medals.

It takes a special kind of idiot that thinks they can offer Paul Cook words of advice when it comes to football and tactics.

Cheers mate but I have a feeling that may have already been done by the steward after last Saturdays game. As I have said I'm looking forward to the Notts game to see if he's there and if he is just what his behaviour will be like. As I left last Saturday he was sat in his seat with the steward stood in front of him and his bottom lip was out and quivering lol.

AC, he's probably had everything he's wanted, given to him by doting parents, and at the same time he'll have never been chastised in his life. Spoiling other people's enjoyment won't even register in his immature brain. Where's Eric Cantona when you really have a job for him.
Hopefully, he'll learn from a talking to, but I wouldn't hold your breath.

I'm 5 or 6 rows down from Yogi, S3 I think is it? Only had a season ticket there since we moved grounds and still don't know for sure 😂 There were some rate mouthy, horrible little dıckheads behind us last year, we nearly ended up chinning them a few times but they seem to have bůggered off somewhere else. Proper ruins the day when you know you're going to be stood/sat amongst folk like that, I half thought about not bothering renewing. Spent a lot of the time stood there seething lol.

A cr?che run by modern day versions of Freddie Foreman Mad Frankie Frazer would suffice mate, as we don't want them assaulting our soldiers new boots with their faces, do we 😂. Joking apart, it's not good when they're pulling players to bits, even Tony Moore didn't get the grief some of this squad get.

Getting on players backs doesn't do any good and can only serve to have a negative effect. If a player is having a poor game he needs encouraging not berating. I'm sure there's not one of our players goes onto the field of play thinking I'm not bothered if I have a bad game. Our management wouldn't allow that and I'm positive that they all give their best on the day. Football players are human just like the rest of us and as such have the occasional off day just like the rest of us. The last thing they need on one of those days is their own fans screaming abuse at them. I know Tony Moore is no longer with us but I still feel sorry for the poor man to this very day.

“ Trapattoni “ did get the worst but I recall Warnock getting his share.

In the early 60s my grandad took me to lots central league games whereby if we got a corner it was classed as a victory we had a left winger by the name of 'Plant' (I want to say Robert but think I maybe be wrongly influenced) the stick he got week in week out was horrendous and being in front of a small crowd would be more personal. Being young I would cringe
