fair enough and i think he has to be given the chance, he clearly has the confidence of the manager, let's hope he has a really good game.

I under pin that sentiment. All the mad crack theories on here all week about what cook should do nobody mentioned Drummond and madden as the answer. Best of luck lad.

Thank god cookie manages the team with his bloated back room staff and not this forum 😂

I suggested Drummond earlier but that wealth of football knowledge, aka Walton Spireite, poopooed it

Let's wait and see. I hoped he proves me wrong. We are woefully short up front.

No problem with Drummond starting j just feel he is a bit green when it comes to league football and a little bit light, promising player but on what I have seen not a starter
ITS NOT THE WINNING,ITS THE TAKING APART

There's no evidence that Quigley could serve well as a back up to Grigg, except as a substitute. When given the opportunity to start matches in a lower league towards the end of last season he did nowt, and we lost matches. Maybe a harsh conclusion, but it's what Cook saw.

Why quote last season ? and if you remember we did nowt because the title was secured by then. If Joe had stayed we?d have faired a lot better at Vale and against Cheltenham IMHO, but we?ll never know.
God I hate this league.

Drummond showed yesterday why he is a million miles away from starting. We should have played berry up front.

Neither player suit that lone striker role in a cook formation, and playing Berry there with two hairy bummed cabs breathing down his neck wouldn?t have suited him either.

Kane was there to run around a lot and put their CHs under a bit of pressure on the ball, which he did as well as could be expected.

It also highlighted just how Good Grigg is in that role.
