I?m going for Oldacre currently, a good steady player cemented in the midfield and crucial with his style of play. Very comfortable on the ball, sees a pass and then his free-kicks.

Ex league player in his early career. Rarely injured.
God I hate this league.

Based on the example given, assuming you mean the best current player in the squad to have played non-league id go for one of:

Dobra
Naylor
Dunkley
Grigg
Madden
Colclough

I'm sure he'd be delighted at your choice. Until he saw you'd spelt his name incorrectly.

It sounds like a place that Dolly and Matt used to 'while away their hours' in Emmerdale
Derbyshire is Derbyshire
Yorkshire is Yorkshire

Never the twain shall meet.

The more snippets I see of Hobson, the better I think he is.
Correct me if I'm wrong but did he play wing back vs Lincoln?
If so his run onto an excellent pass brought the goal.
Another string to his bow and looks like being formed into one of those multi positional players

I suspect the OP wasn't aware of DJs previous EFL appearances.

In the spirit of the thread it has to be a player who, prior to this season has only played non league football, that doesn't leave many to choose from.

I'm going for Ryheem Sheckleford as he played a key part in our success last season and put a beautiful cross onto Quigley's head at Watford.

I'll agree with you on that, and I think Sheckleford is one of the most improved players we have. It's a pity he got injured when he did because if he'd carried on this season as finished off the last, I think he would be one of the first names on the team sheet.

I'm on a long shot - Liam Jessop. Full time training has transformed him and he's filled out from a little kid to a proper footballer with talent. Full international in the near future is my guess. Ironically, he won't be in our squad.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

Apropos of not much, I was served by his best mate in a posh pub in Guildford last week.
He said DJ moving to town was his best move, getting away from a silly crowd of mates.
