At 16, he broke into the under-18s team this year and scored twice in 10 outings. There was also a debut for the under-23s in April. Does this mean cookie doesnt see naylor as playing in midfield much this year?

Yeah maybe. As good as Naylor is at cdm him and dunkley have looked very good together at centre back. We seem to be a lot more solid at the back. I for one am less nervous when the opposition are on the attack with these 2 as compared to last season.

With oldaker and banks I think you need to play one or the other paired with a defensive midfielder such as jones or this new lad.

I?d imagine we would see a mixture of the new lad and jones with oldaker and banks depending on the opposition however I would not be surprised to see oldaker paired with the new lad more often than not.
