Not even sure which one to try for....Heaton Park is obviously easiest but can see it being really messy then the others mean an overnight stay more than likely and accommodation costs will be ridiculous.

Saw them at Heaton Park in 09, not a great venue for a concert. Saw them at (old) Wembley in 2000 and even then it was a far better venue than Heaton Park.
Having said that I?d definitely settle for Heaton Park if it was that or nothing.

Yeh that will be good, Edinburgh is brilliant and love it up there having been a number of times but it drops when we'll be in France so a non starter for me as is Dublin which would be a cracking weekend. Can see me just going for Heaton Park i suspect.
That said always that chance that unless you have tickets for the first one in Cardiff they could pack up again before they get to the later dates!

They have to do rehearsals before the first one so that isnt guaranteed....
Wembley or Croke Park for me, and @jonB wash you mouth out, nowt wrong with middle aged blokes pretending they still have it... its the ones ove 60 you need to worry about
(if the average life expectancy is 81 for blokes then 40 is middle aged, just saying..)

I've not seen them since 96 at Knebworth and think it was about ?25 for an all day job with various support acts. Sadly i had to settle for Sunday that meant we got Dreadzone instead of the Prodigy and Kula Shaker with their lead singer completely off his trolley! By all accounts on the Saturday Prodigy were outstanding!

My favourite band of all time did reunite recently (for one song) which is something they said they'd never do.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was a band who I think are actually better than Oasis supporting them, who have done so before and who teased their own new album release online over the weekend. The Manics.

We did something similar a few years ago when a Springsteen gig was announced for Sunderland, we got a couple of rooms booked straight after the announcement before the hotels had chance to change the prices. Have seen stories of it happening before as well where hotels cancel previous bookings and hike the prices. We went to see, of all people, Roxette at Wembley Arena years ago and stopped in a hotel right by the stadium and arena. It was rammed as it happened to be the same night as England played either Holland or Spain in a friendly as well so 80,000+ at that as well. On the back of the doors in the hotel rooms they had a listing of pricing where they had what they classed as Event pricing which was about 4 times the price we were paying for the same room.
Stories like this room cancellation etc and if the ticket selling doesnt go smoothly with them ending up on ticketmaster resale sites within seconds of them going on sale it could be the one that finally sees something done about it.
