Correct, but we still have some naysayers who cannot convince themselves when seeing the evidence, even Bonnyman seems to be slowly getting there so there is still hope.

Correct mate, Grigg is excellent at what he does, and it's certainly not just about his goals either. I've just watched the full match from Saturday and his movement is spot on. The space he makes for others by dragging the defenders with him creates opportunities for his teammates to exploit. His hold up play throughout the Crewe game was so good too. Makes you wonder what all the fuss was about missing out on Andy 60 minutes per game Dallas doesn't it?

....so have I. I was surprised how open the first half was. They had at least a couple of very good chances.

They certainly aren't a bad side, and Boot had more to do than the score tell us. It could have been 8-3 to town, and that's just in the first half. We were making chance after chance but they certainly had a go. Some clubs, stupidly, would want the manager's head after that, but they'll bounce back from Saturday.

Agree, he is a class apart but not quite as good as SIr Jack in recent times.

Any feed back on this? Was we granted an audience with the powers that be?
I suppose no news means that there has been a complete cover up and the 9,000+ folk in attendance are left pondering whether they should pay a visit to specsavers.

Absolutely.
However it was clearly stated during the height of the indignation surrounding this bizarre incident that the club would be seeking a meeting with the refs 'el supremo' with a view of getting clarity on the decision. A statement which would surely create interest amongst those in attendance.
However does no further comment indicate that the refs body accept the claims but have told CFC to 'button it'? If so, then integrity and 'openness goes out the window.
It would have been nice for Joe Spectator to have been given some sort of waffle as to the outcome. This is all assuming the meeting has taken place and hasn't gone the same way as many cases in the British judicial system with a lengthy delay. It could be prudent if by seeking clarity and possibly upsetting a few, CFC should be on top of all player registration issues!!!

In total agreement with you on this, frustration if not anger is generated by these poor decisions, and let's be honest, this was not a difficult decision as some are.It is purely the unaccountability of the refs body that causes it.IMO
