I know it's pretty irrelevant at this point, but why are Swindon above us in the current league table, obviously we have identical records so I presumed it went in alphabetical order, ... just intrigued that's all..

all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

I think everyone was worth a 7/10 last night apart from our Columbian international right back who, for me, was man of the match with a 9/10. He had a debut to be proud of, and looked like he'd been with us for ages. Both full backs are a step up from last season, and Dunkley is awesome for this league.

The big lad was the focal point of their attacking ideas and more than once he managed to lose our CBs and get himself into a position in which his only marker was Tanton thus giving him a very distinct height advantage. Fortunately, he failed to capitalise on this with his resulting headers.

We are going to face teams with different styles of play in L2 and, possibly, more open games than we had in the NL and it will be up to the management and players to deal with this. However, despite the penalty which should have been we failed in the first half to make our possession pay. We played some decent football but we did not achieve the ultimate objective of the game which is to put the ball in the onion bag.
